Just to clarify when you say
Maniacal Pyromaniacs can also drop any of the Blazing Fireworks Themed Pets (except for Ferrikki, which can only be found in the Lost Grove)!
Does that mean you defeat a pyromancer and find an egg item, or you have to capture it while fighting the pyro, or how does that work?

Unless things have changed to how they usually work with pet drops, the pets will occasionally be dropped as part of the loot when you defeat a pyro.

Ah so it will show up in your hatchery as an egg? Or in the stables? I'm wondering if I need to clean out some space lol. Thanks!

It will show up as an Eggling in your Hatchery. ^_^ (At least I understand that's how it has worked in the past; I've never actually had it happen to me. xD )
