Correct.

Fortunately though, it's really easy to get through the first 2 regions. You can probably get through them in just a couple hours tops. But could be significantly less depending on how far through you already are.

If i fight a Pyro in SBO/AT, does it affect the battle count for Lost Grove? I tend to bounce between the places, but I'd really hate to find out that leaving LG each time resets that counter.

It does not.

SBO/AT is a separate counter from TLG one.

Can anyone tell me why I've spent like 2 hours in LG and have yet to find a Pyro? Unless the one in the place with the boat about 3 hours ago "reset" my count I should have run into one by now wouldn't you say? This is getting so frustrating. I've been at this pretty hard core since about 11:30pm EST and now its about 3:30am EST and I still only have the 1 pyro, who btw, dropped a bit of apparel, NOT a coveted egg! I should be in bed right now but NO I'm trying to get at least one dang egg and I can't even find ONE stupid guy who is supposed to give me it...and if/when I do its probably more likely I'll get a dang apparel piece...probably the very same one i already have ;_; Some folk have mentioned using the LG perfumes and still not running into the guy. If you need to spend real money to buy perfumes just to have more than a passing chance to meet up with on of these guys that isn't fair.

I should be able to run into this guy at least once an hour. Otherwise its not a "celebration" but a punishment. A punishment for the people who cannot stay up all night or skip work. You know...the responsible adults who have actual lives outside of a pixel pet game.

Krin, I am going to add my voice or pen to the problem mentioned above. I played nearly all of yesterday after the event opened. Guessing my hours played at somewhere between 6-8hrs. I got 2 Pyros in that time. After I get my first one today, I am going to start keeping track of battles instead of time. The Pyros are too few and far between seeing them along with, dang.... they are tough ones to beat. Nearly or a bit harder to beat then Eleane.

Krin I unfortunately failed my first pyro(spent 2 hours trying to trigger the first) and spent the next 11 hours trying to trigger another. I think that perhaps the encounter rate is too small or perhaps when you fail the pyro can hang around for your return. Lvl 73 pyro seems to be harder to take down than Eleane. With Eleane though i can add my training ground boost, i cant do that will Pyro as i dont know when it will show up

I am going to pencil in with GG and the others as well I know that sometimes the numbers on your end look great but on our end its a bit different. As a casual player base we can't devote entire days to gaming, some can but the vast majority cannot. I like GG am going to keep track of Battles though I think its a safe assumption to assume its between 300 and 500 battles even then Our movement rate in the grove is really slow compared to other regions so it takes triple the time.

But aside from that I have noticed a downward trend in the mini fests especially.... that they are not really meant to be a festive celebration but instead a lot of work for little pay. The Pyros only drop a couple of items and the fact it takes so long to find them is not enticing, even working for the new items and Rikki eggs is not incentive enough for the long haul. And I don't want to just "Not Participate if I don't like it" I, like many others on the site , want to see this site grow and limiting fests this much is not a step in that direction. It seems that the site has gotten more worried and constrictive on the inner economics of the game than the player base itself. It may be just a gap in my understanding but I don't see the need to seemingly cater the drops around top grinders, they worked for it just let them horde XD. As for me and probably the rest of the casual player base, are starting to feel a bit left behind and pushed to the side, But Fest overview is not the place for that You have gotten one of those Pings from me already ^.^ I just really care about the site and Have noticed this trend and see it being Highly detrimental to the site itself.
