"Hey, you said you've never enchanted anything before. Have you ever seen someone do it? It's not that hard, especially if you already know how to make things," Siara says, walking over to your worktable and pointing at one of the half-finished projects. "Silver is good for holding magical items that could be potentially dangerous, as long as the part you touch is a different material. Take, say, lily of the valley, for example, it's good for remembering short-term things, so you could make a silver pendant holding it, but the cord would have to be leather so that the person wearing it doesn't get poisoned."

I nod slowly. "I think I have..... I.... always considered it to be over my head, but...." I shrug. "If you say so, I suppose I could attempt it sometime."

The ether is another name for the "void" that all worlds, including Fantasia, are suspended in. It's sometimes thought of as a fifth dimension, which explains why life is not known to exist in it. People who end up in the ether while traveling between one world and another are almost never seen again, presumably to have had dematerialized or something similar. The book suggests that there might be some way of surviving in the void, not possible by humans but by another creature.

You poke the tree again, but aside from the rustle of the leaves it makes, you don't hear a sound out of the ordinary.
The guy looks at you strangely. "Might've been the wind. I don't know how a dog would get stuck up there, anyways."

"I'm sure I heard something" mumbled Evan " well thanks anyways and sorry for wasting your time, I should probably find a garbage for my trash, have a good day!" Evan said to the other guy

He shrugs and walks off, after saying, "Garbage is over there," and pointing over his shoulder at the nearest trash can.
You swear you hear a snicker from the tree after he leaves.

Evan glares at the tree, determined to see what is in it. He throws out his garbage then tries to find something he can bring over to the tree and step on to be able to get up on the branches (like a rock, stump or stool)

Selena starts to write in her notebook on what she found in the book. Once she got done writing she grabbed the next book which is 'Fantasia Legends: The Haunted Lighthouse'and closed 'Life in the Ether: Possibility or Fiction?'.

The notes she took.
Life in the Ether: Possibility or Fiction? Notes

1. Ether-other name for void.
2. A world even Fantasia is suspending in. How man worlds are in this ether or void?
3. Thought it was a fifth dimension. No life in it though.
4. People who travel between worlds and another one are not seen again, said to dematerialized or something similar. Did something get to them or is it just death?
5. The book suggested a way to survive the void but only by a different creature but not human. Why not a human? What creatures can survive and travel between worlds? Does this connect to what will happen tomorrow?

"How about now?" she asks, picking up a random piece of jewelry (your choice). "Tell me what this is made of. I don't know much about metals themselves. Do you have any, say, flowers or anything? A lot of flowers have magical properties."

"Silver alloy," I say instantly, recognizing the piece- a bracelet, nothing too fancy, fashioned of many interlocking pieces for flexibility."Electrum.... if I remember correctly. And..... uh, I think maybe I have something like that. I'll check my storage." I offer. Perhaps there were a couple of flowers, plants and the like somewhere, although I don't often use much else other than gemstones and metal.

There's nothing nearby, there are some pretty big rocks but you doubt you can lift them, and you can't exactly carry a stump. You don't have a stool or anything, and the nearest bench is a good ways away.
