Out of all the Lunemara abdomens, my favourite is the original, before revamp. I liked the curl, but as obvious fur/fluff (and kind of like it was only coming off the back). I loved that (and I loved the furry caterpillar body look xD ). I know it was only on the female back then, but if there are going to be changes to the default currently, then I'd probably like it on the male too. Maybe the female's could curl to the back and the male could curl to the front or something if you still wanted gender differences... But, failing that, I would want to keep the curled abdomen as the default. I still want the uncurled abdomen to be a Mutation though as it would be good for my spider lune plans (determined to have spider lunes). I do still have a small problem with the hippy look of the abdomen as I like triangular or furry sausages mothies the best, but as I look at it more, the more I train myself to not see it, so it's a waning issue... But I would like a distinct wasp abdomen Mutation for waspy designs even if the default was less hippy. :3

To sum up, I like curl as default and want the uncurled version as a Mutation. ^_^

I wish there was at least another option besides yes or no. Something like a no to both or something along the lines of something like A or something like B but not quite. Not sure if that just makes things more complicated though.

Personally I may be leaning towards the new version but I'm not sure. I wonder if it would look better if it was longer or something. Some slightly different shape.

I like the idea of the swirl end, but I personally think you could keep the swirl and just make it smaller and less predominate

I actually prefer the original version for the body. It feels more attuned to the wings, if you get my drift. The new one is... dry? dull? boring? Something like that.

It's the curly nose I wish was redone...
I agree; I love the slimmer appeal of the new Lu, but that nose curl has gotta go! I didn't really love the bottom curl, though... and yes, the wings do feel more...off. So I'd honestly want the old Lu with the new Lu's body shape.

Yes or No makes it very clear cut to see what's what. Just because one may win the majority doesn't mean that's what we'll go with. If there's any degree of sitewide indecisiveness, we'll go back and try again with a new idea and rinse/repeat until something is clearly the best direction to go in.

So just vote what you feel most comfortable with.

What does the body look like if you kept it the same size as the original but got rid of the curl? Also what about the new thinner look but keep the curl?

The original version looks better. The shape of the abdomen and wings and the moon crest on the antennae makes the Lunemara look like a mystical specie. With the abdomen changed, it looks... like something's off.

The original version looks much better.

Why not go for the new design, which is much better, and then make the curled tail a gene for those who still want it?

I definitely prefer the body without the curled bottom, but it looks just a bit too small for the lune. What really bothers my about them, though, is the curled noses. The curled body I could live with, but I can't get over the snoots. XD

I almost wonder if there should be some other sort of detail to the new version. I just have no idea what. Something that would be less plain but also wouldn't be too bad for layering. Overall I think I do like it more than the old version. But I'd definitely be interested in seeing what it would look like a bit larger at least.
