Asteria - 60 HP - Forest of Eden

Asteria quickly gets her bow off her shoulder and loads her bow. She aims at the creature trying to be able to defend them if the creature attacked. She never takes her eyes of the Lurker as she draws back her bow expecting the attack to happen at any molment. Taking a deep breath she draws the string back, aims at the creature, and tries to hit it with an arrow.

Aaron - 70 - Vathia (Gates)

Appraising the new threat, Aaron draws his daggers and tilts his head to the side, "Well, yer kin'a ugly, in'tcha." He flicks his tongue and grimaces at the palpable tang of acidity on the air. Crouching in anticipation of stabbing the thing (or needing to dodge; whichever came first), he watches the path of the ranger chick's arrow to see where it landed before he made a move.

Asteria holds her position with baited breath as she watches the arrow's path. She notices Aaron out of the corner of her eye. She hopes the arrow hits the Lurker though she does not count on it knowing that the Lurker could dodge it.

Asteria yells for Armand to move as she loads another arrow into her bow. She quickly takes aim on the Lurker's chest, relying on her years of training as she releases the arrow hoping for another hit. She hoped this time the creature would not suffer. She knows though that the creature was slowed down but that didn't mean the shot would make contact.

16 HP (Burned) I Overgrown Lurker I Forest of Eden
The lurker took the arrow shot through the side. The beast still seemed to have some fight left in it as it slammed Aaron with the side of its head painfully, not quite able to line itself to bite the rogue.

Armand | 60 HP I Forest of Eden
The lurker slumped a bit as Armand followed up his attack after a sidestep, hitting its other side and driving it further away from Aaron.

Damien I 70 HP I Forest of Eden I (Holy Dragonfire used)
Once he had gotten his opening thanks to the combined efforts of Asteria and Armand, Damien exhaled a white flare that scorched the lurker, catching a loud screech from it as it caught momentarily ablaze.

Asteria's eyes widen in suprise as Damien's fireball caught the lurker and set it ablaze. Asteria breaths out aiming another arrow at the Lurker. She tries to hide her suprise knowing it could easily throw off her shot. To be honest though this one adventure she hoped would calm down rather soon. Putting that thought out of her mind she aims at the Lurker hoping that her arrow would put the creature out of it's misery.

Aaron - 60/70 - Vathia (Gates)

Aaron doesn't wait for the ranger to loose her second arrow. He darts straight for the creature's throat, hoping to catch it and end this quickly. There are things that need doing, damnit. Time's a-wastin'.

Asteria- 60 HP- Forest of Eden

Asteria frowns knowing her second arrow had hit and her third arrow's path would most likely hit Aaron if he wasn't careful.
"Move!" Asteria shouts at Aaron, "I don't want to hit you with an arrow especially one that I can't control!" She understood why he thought that she was being slow but she knew better than to rush head first into a situation or rush a shot.

The arrow made its mark, just as Aaron's blade did, bringing the Lurker down in a crumpled, bleeding heap. Its struggle to stand was quickly snuffed out by the flames and as quickly as it had caught fire, it went out, leaving nothing more than a handful of poisonous canine teeth behind, probably enough to make a weapon poison with with the right touch.

Armand relaxed as the beast disintegrated, sheathing his sword as he exchanged glances with Damien.

"That's dealt with. Thankfully. We shouldn't hang around here too long on the off chance any others show up."
