Asteria walks over to Aaron and the remains of the Lurker, "Are you alright?"
She glances over at Damien and Armand before looking at the Lurker's teeth. She didn't use poison weapons so there would be no point in her picking them up.
"Are you both alright," Asteria asks after a minute. She holds the bow in her hand expecting another attack.

Asteria frowns noticing that Aaron either forgot to acknowledge her work or did not care to.That bothered her slightly but she choose to ignore it this time. At being called darling she stiffened and seriously hoped that Aaron would never call her that again or next time she might not rien in her temper so well. She walks forward to scout in front of the group not saying a word. Her eyes dart from potential hiding places to where tracks could possibly have been left by a creature or multiple creatures.

"Fine," Asteria says through clinched teeth. She knew Damien was just trying to make sure she was okay but Aaron had gotten under her skin. She looks in the direction the Lurker came from looking for any other signs that it had companions with it that might try and suprise them. She knew from her first encounter with the creatures that they tended to travel in packs.

The forest was quiet other than the group and the sound of wind through trees.

Damien took that as a sign to move forward and motioned the party to follow him as he started off deeper into it.

Aaron - 60/70 - Treeees
As the winged guy pretty boy prince heads into the woods, Aaron follows with a bounce in his step. He gets ahead and scrambles... relatively gracefully into the nearest tree. His coat makes a distinctive jangling noise as he moves, one it hasn't made not that long ago. The soft sound follows him as he leaps to the next tree. Swinging upside down, Aaron looks back at the rest of the party, "Where we 'eadin', anyhow?"

Sure enough, after some further chatter and trudging along, the rocky ruins of some ornate fortress or temple-looking building came into view, wedged just at the end of the forest. The sky had grown darker as the end of day approached, leaving the entirely place eerily lit. A dark energy seemed to creep from further inside the place.

"Just as decrepit as I remember it.." Damien sighed, illuminating the area with a wisp of white fire from his palm. "It's been a long while since I've had to set foot back here. I only hope we will not be here long."
Armand | 60 HP | Old Ruins
"So you know what you're looking for then?"
Damien | 70 HP | Old Ruins
"Yes. The rocks here carry the gem in abundance. It's only an issue of finding one large enough to work with. You may have better luck searching near the edge of the forest than directly by the ruins themselves. The area was excavated several years ago when the ruins were set to be destroyed and removed."
