"Agreed," Scarlet took off at a fast jog to hopefully outfox and outpace the animal that howled. Her red fur was a blur as she ran and her tail tip looked like a banner behind her. "Hurry Hunter, Jay you have the advantage of flight so fly ahead and make sure we do not fall into a trap please."

Ya think?" The twins grimaced.

"I wish you both luck if that isn't the case...." August commented in response to the two brothers.

"Right!" Jay exclaimed as he took off as fast as his little wings could go. Only in moments like this did he wish he turned into a hawk instead of a songbird. At least them he could outfly some things! As he got ahead though, he found a few twisting halls, vines seeming to fall down through the floor ahead. Was a whole jungle up there? However, his eyes caught on the staircase tucked into a corner, so shadowed that someone could walk past without knowing it. He looped back, calling out to Scarlet and Hunter at the same time. "Hey! There's a staircase ahead! We can take cover!"

"Great find Jay," Scarlet runs over and dives behind the stair case. Checking to make sure she was sell hidden Scarlet used her dark coat to her advantage. "Come on Hunter hustle."

Hunter nearly stumbled over his claws as he turned to follow the red comet also known as Scarlet. "I'm trying," he huffed. "sorry."

Scarlet peeks out of her hidy-hole to grab Hunter and try to pull him into the hidden spot, "Shh."

"If they're not friendly, maybe they'll take reason from one of their own?" Grey hopes as she keeps a steady pace. "I mean, better safe than sorry, right? So... maybe we try not to get caught... ?"

"This is the safest place right now," Scarlet says in a hushed tone.

Once helped by Scarlet, Hunter opens his mouth to say something, but then shut it with a soft snap, and settles to just nodding his understanding.
