Mid week reminder folks, that deadline is this Sunday at 5pm CST.

I understand with the holiday some of you may have gotten a little busy with returning to school and what not. So I figured that we all could use a little reminder. If your name is listed below, that is because we have not yet received your submission and or declaration of opting out for this week. Please make sure not to wait until the last minute to do one or the other.

If you need help, be sure to ask. It is a fun and interesting exploration of the heavens above that we all can do. So I strongly encourage all of you to participate. But again, if you need help let me know.

(Sorry it's late in the week,i have been too busy for my own liking)

I cannot tell if my images are too big or anything so let me know and i can try to find a smaller one

Sirius A
AKA:Alpha Canis Majoris,The Dog Star
The brightest star in Earth's night sky. The name means "glowing" in Greek a fitting description, as only a few planets, the full moon and the International Space Station outshine this star
It was first reported by the German astronomer Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel in 1844,though many ancient civilizations knew about it

Alpha Scorpii
AKA:Bright Red Antares,Heart Of The Scorpion
Alpha Scorpii is the 16th brightest star in the sky, and it is located in the southern half of Earths sky.It was discovered by the Austrian astronomer Johann Tobias, in 1819 during a lunar occultation, but the star's existence was not confirmed until 1846.similar in appearance to Betelgeuse.

In Polynesia, Scorpius is often seen as a fishhook, with some stories describing it as the magic fishhook used by the demigod Maui to pull up land from the ocean floor that became the Hawaiian islands. According to the University of Hawaiis Institute for Astronomy website, the Hawaiian name for Antares, Lehua-kona, seems to have little to do with the constellation. It means southern lehua blossom.

(It's times like this i wish the heavy scaled plating looked better for scorpion looks)

Hopefully it's ok I ping this group as this is relevant to your interests.

I will be holding bi-weekly design contests in between festivals starting after summer festival. I'm looking for judges but also starting a ping list for contestants who are interested in being notified when I post new challenges.

You don't need to dedicate your time, it will be based on who signs up first for that challenge.

Rewards will include lots of gold and valuable pets/items.

Feel free to ping me on my thread if you're interested and would like to be on my ping list. If you're interested in judging please follow the application guide!

You usually PING the Group and or thread host before doing so. Doing so before hand is in a way bad form. But it is up to the group members to decide if they want to participate. Please do not PING them without their permission.

Apologies, just thought the people in this group would be interested. I gain ZERO from what I've posted. I'm not advertising anything for personal gain. If anything it benefits everyone else.
