Dobhar felt some of his alphas mask slip away at her words. He spoke again but this time his voice seemed different, less commanding, more fatherly and sympathetic.
"I know how you feel but doing that wont help this pup. If you really don't want that to happen then you be their mother, then they'll have someone at least. Unlike us..." He was practically whispering at this point.
Both mist and Juniper were new to the pack, and even then most of the dogs who had known dobhar as a pup were gone. But what was the use in hiding somthing so trivial.

She nodded to her alpha. "Got it." Carefully she picked the pup up in her maw and looked to Mist. "Let's go." She said not truly happy at the moment. There was no one to feed the pup, and it was already too late. It was so weak as it was that the pup wouldn't make it anyways.

Mist stopped just suddenly froze up, the tears stopping there flow as a small smile took there place as she stood up and took the pup within her jaws "I will take the pup back to camp and leave it with juniper. Then I will come find and help you. I get the feeling this will be a tuff fight." Mist said smiling with the usual sweet smile. Tho for the first time you could see just how fake it was.

Eci smiled as she sat down by the mouth of the cave and took in her work. She had cleaned up the den a bit, and made a few more shelves. She had went out carefully, catching a few mice and stacking them up.

"Come on now don't be sad." She said licking Mist's face some. "She's in a better place now." Always look for a bright side to any situation. She smiled some at the others looking at the pup. Maybe he would make it, just if they tried hard enough. Three weeks was all he really had to eat milk then he would be fine, right? In her moment of thinking she was off guard allowing the wolf to sneak up behind her and grab her by the back of the neck. With a Yelp she was thrown about, the males teeth digging into her skin and flesh rendering her useless.

Mist growled but darted away trying her best to keep the pup safe. Setting the pup down on a bed of moss. Before making her way back. She was going to kill that beast.

Dobhar sprang into action with a ferocious snarl and bowled the wolf over biting into his neck and twisting it hard forcing him to drop Juniper. He dragged the struggling cursing wolf away from the others digging into him with razor sharp claws and fangs.

Ash didn't know what to say but she wouldn't eat it until everyone else ate. She needed the others to be strong so they could help. She laid it down in the prey pile.

The small dog flew from the wolf's mouth as she was release landing hard on the ground as she did. Coughing she stood to see the others fighting. All she wanted to do was help though her size reframed her from doing so. Instead though she knew someone whom could help. Throwing back her head she howled loudly the cave doing well to echo it.

He perked up at the sound. It was Juniper! She sounded like she was in trouble! Nothing could stand in the males way as he bolted out of the cave to the source of the sound. One can do amazing things when faced with tragedy or lose thus his movements seems almost unearthly as he ran through the brush. He arrived at the den in time to see the fight play out. With out hesitation he latched onto the wolf's back leg as Dobhar fought it. He didn't care what happened to either of them, only if Juniper was alright. Throwing his head side to side he shook the males about wildly as he clamped down on the wolf's leg.

Storm

"Sorry about snapping earlier." Storm said obviously not used to apologizing. "I just really hate fire pack dogs.

Mist

Mist hurled herself into the large wolf tearing into his side, unreasonably good at killing for an omega.
