Eci listened from the den, one eye closed. She considered her choices, and went back into the corner. She grabbed a small pouch and a tiny blue bottle.

Mist- almost to Sasha

Mist kept running as fast as she could determined to help the dog.

It was too late. She was gone though the pup that lay next to her now wasn't. The small pup whimpered next to its mother as it nuzzled into her fur. How sad the scene was.

~Dobhar~Firepack~Firepack Territory~

Dobhar could tell the situation was urgent. With the combination of the scents in the air and the fractured bits and pieces juniper was shouting out between panicked yips he had a pretty good grasp of the situation.

"Calm down Juniper. Which way are they?"

Not that he couldn't track the scent to its source but It would have taken too long to pinpoint the trail, plus if Juniper had just come from the scene that meant she knew the way already.

(OOC: um no offence but, how are we going to take care of a newborn pup without a nursing surrogate?)

Mist arrived a few minutes later and froze at the scene. "No..." mist walked forwards and nudged the female. "Wake up. Please your pup needs you." Mist seamed a little to calm with the situation as she curled her tail around the pup in an attempt to keep it warm as she did her best to wake the female.

Part of mists back story let's her know a couple of fake herbs that are around the area she comes from that can do the job of milk. Unless it's too unreasonable for reality.

Juniper~female~corgi~Firepack

Without another words she rushed off into the forest as fast as she could. The scene was as she left it though in now seemed hostile. She tucked her tail in and cowarded away. "Here it was." She whipered.

~Dobhar~Firepack~Firepack Territory~

Juniper lead dobhar to the dogs den and he immediately began tracking her to where she had been taken. As he followed the trail he began to lose hope that she was still alive and at the same time grew more and more certain what exactly had transpired.

He arrived at the males den to find Mist curled around a tiny newborn pup. The mother had obviously just passed, she had even managed to lick the pup clean before she succumbed to the blood loss. Dobhar approached slowly and spoke in a soft voice.

"Mist, it's too late. You need to take the pup out of here." he turned to face Juniper
"Help her keep it safe and warm, bring it to my den and stay there. Take the long way around if you need to, just don't go through the camp. We don't want to cause a scene."

Dobhar took one last look at the pitiful scene before him and sighed.

"I'll be staying here. Clearly I have some business with this male."

"no!! she can't die! She has to live and care for her pup! I won't let another dog know what it's like to be parentless!" Mist howled tugging the pup close to her and shaking the she dog desperately tears streaming down her face. "I won't let this pup go thru that!"
