He thinks for a moment. He's trying to track what is probably some aspring hero. Now, most likely the dragon king's path is the turbulent waves. But....Callen's not sure how good a swimmer he can be with no guide.

If he can get to the boat, and if there's an oar, maybe he can row his way around. It's worth a shot, so he figures he'll go through that foueth door and hope those dark outlknes aren't sharks about to eat him for dinner.

The girl shrugs, says, "Well, any meaningful wish always takes time. If you look during that time, then you can find signs. If you don't believe though, then nadda."

She watches as you fidget in response to her question before waving off the offer with an understanding smile. "Nah, I do have a couple of things to do, so please go around and do what you like." She taps on the basket in her hand. "I'm going to sell a couple things at the market, but I suppose I'll see you around."

"My name's Jose, and I live down there in that house with the chili gardens. You can drop by sometime." She turns and points towards her home before stepping off with a quick wave.

What do you wish to do now?

The requirements for the wells sound simple enough: time, belief, sincerity. The real question is how exactly Tuesday is meant to go about this. What should he wish for? Does he even need to make a wish to just collect the Stardust?

After an awkward wave and a moment of silence, he decides it's better to contemplate these questions while walking rather than standing around in the middle of the path. As he briskly makes his way to the center of town, he glances about at the scenery he'd overlooked earlier while busy scanning it for threats. There's something quaint about the houses, and those rolling hills, and that ocean beside it--he reaches involuntarily for something to capture the scene, and then sighs when he realizes it isn't there. He'll just have to remember it for now.

Note- I'll probably only respond on the weekends.
Name: Peyton Everly Rook
Gender: gender-fluid. ((s)he/they)
Age: 22 when changed.
Personality: Lives for the thrill; knowing they could die reminds them they are alive. This sometimes pushes them to be harshly competitive. Conditioned to expect the unexpected - or at least not panic and make a complete blubbering fool out of themselves when it happens. Peyton does not connect with others easily and tends to fail at expressing emotion (haha, having a face of metal does not help). This happens mostly because showing emotions gives them fear that it makes them look weak. Believing themself to be calculating and cruel, Peyton is ready to do whatever it takes to survive. Peyton is actually pretty easy-going and more eager to please than they believe themself to be.
History: Peyton's parents- or maybe just caretakers of some sort, nobody's sure- were part of a mercenary and con-playing mafia thing. Got wound up in it against their will. Fought in a ring for money while taking care of a younger sibling, all while trying to keep said sibling out of the dark/illegal side of the city. Doesn't remember the sibling much, just that it was younger and their responsibility. And the younger sibling really loved dogs. Is plagued by the burn of shame and disappointment in themself; doesn't know what they're feeling guilty* about, but they feel it sharply when they think about their sibling.
Goals: Protect sibling. Probably would have to start with remembering more about said sibling, then reuniting with said sibling. Settle somewhere nice? Does Peyton even deserve that? Become respectable enough to be left well enough alone.
Writing Sample: DMed.
Other: Left handed. *They could be guilty for a number of reasons: did their sibling Die, get Lost, was Given to the Underworld of the City, or Given to the Noble of the City? So many ideas, so much indecision.

Appearance: (Something like this. Not my art/image.)
Description:
68
Mostly humanoid, but with mountain goat-like cloven hooves (for climbing, whoo (would have to be bigger than mountain goats hooves, of course, to hold the weight/not sink)) and unguligrade legs (for running, whoo (I know, getting hit would probably send them sprawling, and carrying weight would be not ideal, but hey! Boing boing!! (I was planning for more of a sharp-shooter or assassin stabby than brawler, anyway strangely enough))). There is a long, razor, whip-like tail (of course made out of similar metal material as the rest of Peyton, not rope), existing purely for balance (ok, ok, and aesthetic) reasons, that snaps down from alongside the spine when needed.
Has mostly human hands, with opposable thumbs but dark grey, soft, squishy pads on the ends of his fingers (think cat toe beans) to offer more sensory input. Has arms that look made with the plan in mind of being able to transition to a more animal state to run more efficiently. So far Peyton hasn't figured out if they actually can shift gears to accomplish this.
An outer shell of lightweight metal armor (muted gray color) made up of overlapping plates (like scales) that can recede further from the surface (when at ease) to allow for cooling or can become flush with the others (when adrenaline's pumping) to prevent essential insides from getting easily stabbed or shot or otherwise destroyed. When the armor is smoothed over the chest, it gives a distinctly more feminine look.
There are red highlights that indicate the location of spikes that flare out (instead of staying smoothly in line with the rest of the armor) when startled. These highlights can be found along the shoulders, forearms, and spine. Bronze highlights do not indicate anything and are more for aesthetic purposes (or at least that's what the person who ran out of the same type of material will tell you). The eyes are also a soft red.
The head is motorcycle-racing-helmet shaped. It doesn't have a visor. The inside of the helmet is depressed from (not flush with) the rest of the helmet, and it looks like some attempt was made to make it look human. The helmet should not be removed (because all the whirring mechanical parts inside of it are in danger of being damaged when exposed). It has spikes/horns permanently fixed (meaning they don't have a slot to slip into when Peyton's relaxed) starting near the temples and following the skull for a couple inches before it splits off into three jagged spikes almost like it tried to match a goat's horns but failed.

Arcana-Tech
Jet pack. With collapsible guns attached to them that pew pow things. (Honestly stumped here, haha)

Constellations
None

Ship
A standard issue ship affectionately dubbed the SUB-3000 for its nature of needing numerous repairs. Its a small thing, a little dented and a little scuffed, but its yours.

Add-Ons:
- A cryopod, perfect for sleeping, regenerating injuries, or reviving. Its a little cramped.

Peyton hesitantly approached the blue screen. She narrowed her eyes upon reading the messages. She could go where she wanted? It sounded a bit too good to be true. She bit the inside of her cheek as she thought this through. Maybe she could find her sibling. The first thing she would need if she was to find said sibling would be to have "knowledge."
They raised their left hand to type their response and found themself flinching backwards at the sight of the misshapen form. It wasn't the one they knew was theirs. As soon as they thought about what their hand had looked like the image grew murky and the memory shifted itself and dripped into the abyss most of their memories were. Their heart hammered in his chest at the scare and they carefully patted their shoulder the clink that movement brought sounded distinctly wrong even though there shouldn't have been a reason against it to calm themself down. It was ok. Their first stop would be someplace with knowledge. They'd learn something, even if it wasn't what they were expecting.
He had a vague idea he'd know what was in the knowledge place. He'd been in one before, though he only remembered snippets. The vastness of the place had him trembling in awe and convinced him to wander and scour the entire place. He remembered the feel of paper between his fingers and the distinct free-ness of being alone and studying whatever one wished thrum deep inside his bones. The memory and place was "haunting," so he decided he would type in that word too.
Now all they needed was something to tie them to their sibling, something that might lead them on the right track. They raised their chin slightly as the distinct thought 'My sibling likes dogs' invaded their brain. Ok. That's not strange at all. At least it's something they could use. Peyton typed in the last word, "dogs," placed their hand by their side, and waited. They had done the best they could.
[Words typed: knowledge, haunting, dogs]

You swim towards the cloud and pierce through the veil, catching sight of the leviathan that lies within. Unfortunately, you can't quite glimpse the head from your position, but it's body is a long, serpentine thing that's covered in sleek wool. Soft pink across its back, and fiery orange across its underbelly; an unorthodox example of countershading.

The tentacle you observed is one arm of many, each sprouting from the creature's sides at regular intervals and dangling by its side like fish hooks. One brushes past you, and your sensors register the monster as a source of Stardust, albeit, a separate one from the one you'd previously been tracing.

To take the Stardust, you'll have to find the metaphorical heart of the monster--its essence of being, the source of its magic.

(Lore-orientated escape room, here we come! Don't worry, if Callen can't make it out, he can just respawn. Though that does mean he'll have to climb the stairs again if he wants to get back down :,D)

You step onto the boat, setting it bobbling with the added weight. Some of the darkness lurking in the water seems to notice your presence, a few ink-like figures swaying as they come over to investigate your presence. It's hard to examine them in the night, but when they swim just right, you can catch glimpses. Flashing fangs, crushed carapaces, trailing tendrils.

Luckily, there's a lantern on board that emits a faint, argent light, leaving the figures idling on the edge of its glow.

A thick maroon ribbon curls through the waves, a siren's call forward. Gazing towards the front, you can see clearer shapes bobbling in the distance, massive arches and silhouettes like islands.

The footpath almost seems to sink into the autumn scenery as it ambles forward, weeds and moss sprouting in the cracks between stone. As you continue down, houses begin to appear around its bends, tucked away behind hills and vibrant foliage.

Suddenly, the next turn opens up to the center of a lively town instead of nature, revealing a steep-roofed well with cheerful red shingles. You step through the breakfast vendors and the frolicking children, slowing as you step up the stairs before coming to a stop in front of the well.

Looking down, you see clear water, so clear that you come face to face with your own reflection, grey eyes gazing back at you. What will you wish for?

[ That's an interesting decision. ]

S1R1 comments, even as the ship whirls to life, its rotors spinning with soft put-put-puts to send itself soaring through the dark sea. Water rushes past the viewing glass at the front of the navigation bay as the ship glides along, searching.

Eventually, it settles onto a suitable world, marked by S1R1's triumphant notification as glittering lights begin to emerge, sending rays of soft reds, violets, and golds refracting through the water.

[ Got one! Get ready for your visit the Cinema House! ^0^ ]

At that moment, the ship lurches forward, falling with a loud splash into a beautiful sea, its dark waters dancing with red lanterns and blooming lotus flowers. For a few seconds, it bobbles there, rocking up and down in the now rippling water in sync with the large, wooden house--decorated with painted silks and colorful fans--floating at the center of the waters.

A few minutes later, a figure steps out, clothed in beautiful cream robes with small white bird embroideries and red trims. Part of her silvery hair has been pulled up in an pair of buns and held in place by ornaments with the same shade of red, and the rest falls down in a pair of long, billowing ponytails. A white fox mask sits across her face, embellished with a sweeping crimson that perfectly matches her painted lips.

With the mask facing towards your ship, she thoughtfully taps a closed fan against her mouth, her other hand reaching down to stroke the small, fluffy white dog standing at her side.

"Are you here for a show, or are you here for information?" she asks.

Surprise twinged her neural circuits as she observed the wooly texture of the flesh of the alien beast, finding it an odd trait for a sea creature to have, but life was fascinating and foreign like that sometimes. She swam in closer towards the pastel leviathan, hesitating a moment before placing both hands against the creature's tentacles.

There was a twinge of fear in the back of her mind. Although being an android, Sirena wasn't really supposed to feel emotions like fear, much less any real emotions at all. Perhaps this was just how she was interpreting warnings of dangers her processors informed her of? Although S1R1 had informed her this location was safe, and therefore she should not be concerned with dangers.

Getting in closer to the leviathan, she began swimming over to the main body of the beast, swimming along the tentacle as a suckerfish might to a shark. While she didn't know exactly what this source of magic would look like, she had a strong feeling she would know it if she saw it- stardust was rather remarkable after all. She kept an eye out on the seas around her as she made her crawl up the tentacle

Ah, lovely. Creatures that want to kill him! Probably. Maybe they're friendly!

Oh who is he kidding, he doesn't have food to bribe them into being nice. Well then, time to see if he can get this boat going. He looks around for oars or paddes or a motor or something, and pushes at the edge of where nice, safe ground is- maybe there's a nice current straight to he island things.
