- STARDUST is a material that possesses magical energy. It can come in a variety of forms, from of variety of sources. The type of energy it contains depends on its source, and its effects can be inferred from its color, luster, and special characteristics.

- ARCANA-TECH refers to the broad category of devices that draw their effects from a mixture of stardust and technology. They have very specific uses but remain stable during transfers being realms. Ex. A sword that generates blades of air when swung.

- CONSTELLATIONS refer to the powers that can be gained from consuming stardust. They give users control over a certain domain, but the specific abilities change between realms. Ex. A storm constellation that gives the ability to summon lightning in one realm and the ability to manipulate air currents in another.

- SYNTHESIZERS are a type of machine, which can be used in place of oral consumption for androids to absorb stardust. Player androids come equipped with this technology and can use it to gain constellations from any stardust they harvest.

- SYNCHRONIZERS are a type of technology that bind items to their owner. They function as an easy access storage space, keeping unused items in a rift dimension and recalling them upon the user's request.

- THE PLANETARIUM refers to the ever-expanding group of realms that are currently colonized by humanity--or whatever remains of it, anyway.

- REALM-HOPPING refers to the method of traveling between realms.

gameplay mechanics.
- Each player starts with a basic ship, which will allow them to realm-hop. I will request one to three words, and a new realm will be generated. You can travel at any point in time, and you can return to generated realms.

- After arriving at a new realm, your job will be to harvest stardust. This can be done through a variety of actions such as combat, exploration, or negotiations, depending on your preferences.

- Once you collect stardust, you can choose to synthesize it, which will consume it, or to sell it back to your company in exchange for credits, which can be used to buy arcana-tech, appearance modifications, upgrades for your ship, or other stardust. Used stardust can also be un-synthesized at any point and traded in.

- Deaths and injuries are to be expected and will likely occur several times between each collection of stardust. The monsters are dangerous, and the citizens are cutthroat. Your character can always recover or reawaken on the ship with all of their items. Use your immortality to its fullest and probe the weakness of your opponents.

- Anything can be upgraded in any way if you have the right materials. For example, arcana-tech and constellations can gain additional abilities, and your ship could gain weaponry. Be creative, and ask if you're ever curious.

- Try to write a minimum of three sentences per response. Exceptions are allowed for fights or conversations.

- If you want something, tell me about it or include it in your characters thoughts. I will steer your story in that direction.

- Don't worry about power-playing or assuming certain details about characters. Feeling strong is fun, and I will discuss changes with you if necessary.
