*lets just eat* Aitan said. Ana and Damien were eating their pancakes in uncomfortable silence as they listened to the others

*I want a cheesecake for my birthday* Aitan said suddenly.

*What?* Ana asked, looking towards Damien, who was also mildly confused.

*Im turning 45... or 18 next week and I want cheesecake* Aitan repeated himself.

*Ah, thats right... Its Aitans Birthday on Tuesday* Darya noted.

*Oh... thats right, I guess you guys would still have birthdays... Well think of a nice way to celebrate your birthday* Ana promised, finishing her pancakes and taking her plate to the sink

"How did we go from talking about cheescake to this?" Eden whined, his arms crossed. He looked ridiculous, wearing his button down t-shirt from the dance yesterday with his jeans rolled up to his shins. He was standing in the creek water, and it must have been cold because he was hopping around.

To be in tune with one element, Kian answered, You must be aware of them all. You'll get your turn with light later, but now we will see how Ana's abilities are enhanced around water. His voice was strangely soothing, definitely calmer out here in the forest, and Kale looked at ease as well.

Maybe this whole element thing does work. "So, um, how the heck are we gonna do Kiki's element?" Diana wondered, honestly curious. "Like, ice cream or something?"

I'm sure we still have an ice skating rink somewhere in this town, right? This time it was Aura offering an answer. Diana nodded, then felt stupid because Aura saw through her eyes. She focused her attention on Anahita.

"Try it Ana!"

"So... how does it work? Do I have to do something with my body? or is it more of a subconscious thing?" Ana asked, holding out her arms. She came prepared for the water, wearing a cyan bikini skirt a white top that had a matching cyan flower pattern.

"Truthfully, I'm not sure, you just have to feel your connection with the water, and use it to move and manipulate the water... I'm sorry I can't provide a more comprehensive explanation" Darya attempted to explain.

"The town has an ice rink, I take figure skating lessons there" Khione said to Diana, showing her a few pictures of the place on her phone. "Also, may I take a video of this? I will not post it anywhere, I would just like to document this, to look back on later" Khione requested.

"I mean, it's not like it's illegal or anything, go for it, just keep it in one of those fake calculator apps that you can store videos on secretly" Ana told her. Darya felt uneasy about it, but didn't object.

"Just get on with it!" Aitan rushed her. Damien wasn't standing in the river, and instead sat a few feet away.

"As long as you don't splash us, i don't care how long you take" Damien said

"Guys, be quiet please, I'm trying to concentrate" Ana said, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath. The water around her began to ripple, and her eyes opened slightly. She raised the water up into the air, seemingly startled as it flowed around her. It shot up suddenly as she was filled with shock and then fell back into the river, splashing those around her

"Hmph. 'As long as you don't splash us'," Diana joked, chuckling as she wiped a few strands of damp hair out of her face. She, thankfully, had changed into a swim top and a pair of athletic shorts. "Well, I guess if you can't get the fresh-from-the-beach look, this works?" Her eyes, though, were a bit wide. Most likely due to the shock of her best friend actually being able to move the water.

On the other hand, their Light host seemed to have other things on his mind. "I... don't like this," Eden whined. His hands combed through his own strawberry blond curls, trying to tame them as they frizzed up. "My hair's a mess!"

Not that it wasn't already, Arell stated obnoxiously, and Eden looked prepared to smack his own head.

A sigh sounded from Kale, who, similar to Damien, was sitting on the river bed rather than wading in the shallows like the others. Kian spoke for him. Your turn soon, Eden. We need to find a rainbow or something for you. A strong beam of sunlight should work too. Right now, since Damien seems to have already lit himself on fire this morning, why don't you go ahead? With water nearby this time.

Eden grumbled, walking off into the forest, and Diana observed the others.

*A rainbow? Where would we- oh! I have an idea! Bring Eden back here, Im gonna try something* Ana said, putting her hands out to the water and focusing.

*Im on it* Damien volunteered since he was closest to the direction Eden walked off to. He turned and started lightly jogging after him to catch up.

*So, what is your plan, Anahita?* Khione asked, tilting her head

*Well, basically-*

*Shes going to try to spray a mist of water that sunlight will reflect off of to make a rainbow* Darya interrupted the explanation. *I think it has a decent chance of working*

*Yeah, I mean, its not a massive rainbow in the sky, but a simple rainbow in a sunlit forest should provide enough elemental energy to give Eden and Arell the boost they need* Cerina piped up.



*Hey! Eden! Come back to the group, Ana said she has an idea to try out for you and your powers* Damien said, catching up to Eden. *Are you alright, dude? You seem... kinda off I guess? I dont really know you that well, but you just seem... distress? Overwhelmed? I mean, I dont blame you, this is a lot to handle, but we have to be a team now, so if you need to, you can talk to me* Damien offered.

Aitan, for whatever reason, actually remained quiet for Damiens friendly interaction.
