He started organizinfg the items a little. It woildnt do to lsoe them. The teeth....a bit unnerving but hed seen worse, brushing his sibligns's dog's teeth was less fun then this. Once he did that he settled dkwn to do more nerdy stuff.

It seem as if this strange encounter allowed you to kill enough time for the scaner to arrive, it was still in a box but it was very obvious that it wasn't a brand new one.

Oh well. Itd have to do...he cojdl always do his own "improvmenets". Maybe. If he had enough time. He immediatley used it starting with the ash
" Fire, low temperature or high electric voltage can cause serious damages or even kill us, still we are probably not a speacie you want to get in a war agaist ... Not like we would start it on our own..." You felt them mental shrug somhow. "We are build to be able to withstand alot phisicaly... our iner plating allow us to protect from human bullets and bites of medium to somwhat high strengh but it wasn't it's original fonction so there is a limit to how mutch we can exploit it's usefullness against those... once you break through it tho, there is no skeleton or any other internal shield that can protect us..."
"kinda like a snail..no offense" he remarked comparing it to the slow animal."but alot smarter and faster" he added
" Four dimentions... i think that's how you guys call the various depness field you are able to decode with your eyes... As for the emerging points, they are the very spot where we were, you can say, summoned ? Not realy but it's the area where we first found ourself when we got forcibly brought to your world. In my case, it's a mine so Under is fitting."
"Ohh, that makes sense." I decide not to ask more about the emerging points because I'm not sure if it's a touchy subject or not. Being forcibly summoned seems like it might be. I glance at the freezer and say, "Hey, as anyone ever killed an intern?" Random question, but that's the first thing I think of.

The hand held device came in three parts: the scaner that could register dattas, a specialy made computer that could handle to process them and various wires to connect the devices togedther or in a wall. Luckly it everything was fully charged, saving you the trouble to have to deal with this for now. It took a few minutes to compleat the scan but you were eventualy rewarded with a beeping sound telling you that the result were done registering and ready to send to the computer.

There was a pause before they answer. " Yes ... there were a few human death ... peoples who push their luck too far ... people who were unlucky ... meat puppets ... it does happen..."

I try not to cringe at the word 'meat puppets', whatever that means. "Riiiight, I'm not sure if I regret asking that question or not. Well, I guess that's a good warning not to push my luck too far. Or annoy anyone too much. Wait, am I annoying you? Are you planning to kill me? I hope not. Dying is inconvenient." I ask half-curiously, half rambling out loud at this point.

" Like for any speacie we have universal warning signals ... loud ones at that ... and if i was realy hunting, you would be dead a while ago ..." You could hear their claws click on the floor as they move tho this seemed to be more of an habit for you to locate them then an actual threat of any kind.
