Detective Jones gives her partner a warning look before turning back to you, "I don't know nor do I care as long as they don't interfer with the police in the area or cause more trouble."
Detective Rookie walks outside for breath of fresh air as Detective Jones speaks again, "I knew your dad he and I trained together for a while in the force before school. You look alot like him. Tell him I said hi please when you see him again. And leave my partner alone he dislikes bounty hunters if you couldn't tell. His father was one. Now shoo we have work to do."
Where would you like to go from here or would you skip to night and try to sneak back into the manor?
More trouble, I think, Interesting. I make a mental note to tell my dad that Detective Jones said hi next time I see him, and then proceed to ponder unnecessarily over why Detective Rookie hates his dad.
Oh well, another thing I'll have to think of later. Today's been a handful already. I decide to leave the manor to wander around the town for a bit and maybe get something to eat before I sneak back into the manor tonight - which there's no way I'm not going to do, because I'm apparently determined to make a handful into several handfuls.

After getting something to eat and when it is nightfall you go back to the manor grounds. There are still police just not as many as before but there is more police tape. The manor is even creepier at night being dark for the most part but some of the house is still lit up from the inside. As the light moves around the house it's easy to tell you're not the only one who wanted to check the manor at night question is who else is there? Will you try to sneak inside, look outside for clues, or try something else for the time being?
Detective Rookie smiles faintly, "See you later Mr.Burns. Remember to be careful."
Detective Jones on the other hand looks less then thrilled, "Yes goodbye."
The map (I have no clue on how New York is set up so if it's wrong it's my bad) has a few museusms, libraries, restraunts, and even more. Though it doesn't have Blackwell's Island on it.
I'll probably explore the city a bit, although, ahem, even with a map my navigation skills are sub-par. Weird..... how come the island isn't marked on there?

"Wouldn't be the first time" she muttered under her breath. She'd been arrested in the past for loitering when in reality she owned the property.She glanced back at the map thinking about where to go

I think I'll make an... attempt to find a restaurant first, as I haven't eaten in a while (whoops! that's on me) and it might be a good place to mull things over.

On the map there are six different restraunts one of which was marked by Detective Jones: An Italian restraunt, a French restraunt, a fast food place, a home style cooking, an Indian restraunt, and the one Detective Jones circled a Mexican restraunt. On her note off to the side: Amazing Chilaquiles, Elote (corn on the cob), and Tamales.

"hrm" she mumbled to herself. It'd probably be a good idea to hit the library and the museum, take notes and then think it over,over food...that sounded good. "Okay" she told herself. "Library & Museum, and then think over food" she finished beginning to head off the island. She'd come back later... legally or illegally
