Detective Rookie frowns, "Detective Jones has a point it's best just to leave the investigating to us. Please if you don't you'll be incrimiating yourself. Now please Miss follow me outside and if you wouldn't mind staying in town until the investigation is over.'

"Miss there most likely isn't one anymore. A hacker knocked out most of the computer library services and erased a good chunk of the books," Mr. Potter notes the behavior, "I'm sorry if I seem forward but you remind of someone I used to know. She was a good friend of mine who unfortunetly died of cancer."

Ivory calmly checks the scratch, unphased. Even though an escort of any kind is annoying, it's not like it's a wise choice to talk back... as much as she would like to show her annoyance. "Lead the way, then." Her words are short, but that's about it.

Detective Rookie hands Ivory a map after they reach the end of the driveway, "Please take this miss it's a map of New York and it's best restraunts that aren't too pricey. By the way I probally give this to you as well."
He hands you a small first aid kit, "For the scratch wound those can get a nasty infection. Good bye."
The map has libraries, museums, restraunts but not Blackwell's Island. On the map there are six different restraunts one of which was marked by Detective Jones: An Italian restraunt, a French restraunt, a fast food place, a home style cooking, an Indian restraunt, and the one Detective Jones circled a Mexican restraunt. On her note off to the side: Amazing Chilaquiles, Elote (corn on the cob), and Tamales. Each place has it's advantages and disadvantages where would you like to go first?

He had just said that there was an ebook somewhere, this man was confusing her. She shook her head, "well i'm sorry for reminding you of an old freind, and i'm going to have to politely decline your offer" she worked better by herself anyways, she'd figure out how to translate it

"That's fine good luck translating and if you need me the libranians know how to contact me or ask Nike Niccos," Mr. Potter goes to get some food. After all the day was only half over. At the library and various book stores there could by books that could help translate.

There is a library not too far from you and there are three bookstores. The first one is called Back to Books, the second is Chapter Ever After, and the third is the Strand Bookstore. The third is the oldest at roughly 95 years old while the others a good deal newer. You take a chance with all four having dictionaries which would you choose?

(Sorry it's so long between replies i havn't been doing great mentally and am just struggling to find the motivation to role play right now)

She'd take her chance with the older bookstore, at least if she didn't find a dictionary she might find something else... and the other ones had WAY too cheesy names

The Strand is a decent distant away nut when you get there and walk inside the cashier greets you. She asks if you are looking for something specific and if she can help. The cashier is perky and friendly.
