It was to his surprise that the god, Finn the one that most of his childhood and adolescence had went to worshipping, put his hand upon the shoulder of a mortal, more still he put his own head to the priests. There was a sharp stabbing as Finn searched through Zarune's mind though he could tell not if it was in the form of pain or something else. It just felt...strange. Then it was gone along with the pain that had been forming about his shoulder and hand. Lord he would have a rude awakening when he got back to the mortal world. Least now though his mind was clear enough for him to think. My lord Finn The man began bowing before him still. for my time here is limited thus my mortal body calls me back yet more than ever. I have many questions to ask of you but only a few shall ever find answers of your wisdom. He stopped watching the red cloud dance about the gods hands. It was transfixing to say the least. My lord, I ask you first for your forgiveness. I have abused my power as a priest, tried to run from my faith, dishonored my people. I ask of you only to forgive me for this. My mind merely left me for a rather humanistic reason, I lost my reasoning due to a woman that caught my eye. I tried to impress her and this is my reward. Laugh if you will but I do not jest. His face was red with embaressment, or was effort? Zarune took a breath awaiting his grace or punishment whichever came first. Molly, lord how she must hate him now. Surely she would throw him to the wolves now but it mattered not. He would return to his work, learning to become a full priest that was if the king didn't request his head on a silver platter. He would build the temple once her had enough money and become a priest in said temple. Unless...unless Molly decided to be his wife. With that he would take his leave from the church, after having it built of course. Then they would settle down and start a family of their own, hopefully if she didn't kill him before then.
Molly~25 years~RG
"I know not that answer." That was simply her answer. "If you two stay close that may be the cause but if not then there is no telling what will happen." With that she led them up the stairs to the castle. From there she followed by the boy made their way towards the Kings chamber. What was to happen to Zarune? To her? Only the king would know that. And lord would he be angry about it. Taking a deep breath she entered the chamber. "My lord..." She said kneeling before the throne. What ever she did she would take the blame for Zarune. It would kill her to think he would take the blam for something she had done. Why she had let them from her sight she would never know though it happened so she would have to pay for it. What ever came next she would take and she would take it like a man would.
Ruairi~23 years~DC
His eyes widened a bit when she brought up the fact she thought he wasn't a bard least that he hadn't been all his life. Though she stopped before she truly asked. Good he wouldn't have ignore the question. "The town isn't far, when we get there lets get you dried off alright? Don't want you catching something and getting sick do we?" He smiled though he was still nervous. Sasha yawned from her perch on his shoulder but suddenly say up ears up. She gave a slight growl causing the man to stop. An eery howl split the air about them. "Wolves..." He whispered stepping in front of the woman. "Stay close, with luck we can get past them without a fight..."

Amsden of the Sapling ~ King ~ 65 ~ Currently in: RG
The old man looked up from the document he was reading. The eyes of the elderly king looked black rather than the usual blue colour they had. "Molly ... I have gotten quiet a few bad reports about your actions for a short time now, I will see you in the courtroom tomorrow, untill then I dont want to see you" the man said in a chilling tone. After that his eyes landed on Cullyn. "And you ..." his tone didnt change at all as he talked to his son. "... will be cared for by the chaimberlain meanwhile" he continued in the same shilly tone. As his words went silent a elderly man stepped up, next to the king bowing politely to the prince.
Cullyn of the Sapling ~~ Crown Prince ~~ 5 ~~ Currently in RG
He walked after Molly in silence and once in his fathers chambers he nodded politely before standing next to Molly in Silence. When he heard his father talk he feelt his face going pale. "What? No ..." he said shaking his head before taking a steady grip of mollys arm. When he saw the man next to his father the grip of Molly hardend even further. "NO!" he said with panic and tears showing in his eyes. NO NO NO! Molly is the only one he truley trusts! SHE is the one he is always happy to see, she is the one who have been there for him night and day. To lose her? Its like having his legs cut of. To him this was a fate worse than death.

When he tensed up she noticed it with ease but ignored it, she simply pretended she didnt notice his nervouse acting. "That sounds lovely" she smiled as he ralked about getting her dried up. Wait ... what would she change into? She had just thought about it as the howling was heard and she looked around quickly. "It is daytime, we are near a town and wolves attak? Sureley you must be jesting. This is not normal behaviour" she said looking around as she put her back against his. If she had only had her weapons she wouldnt feel so useless in the situation. When she looked to the right she saw something dark on the arm of her dress, making her stop. Blood ... they felt the blood in her wound? "You got a dagger? I have an idea" she said while scanning the area infront of her.

The god looked at his servant a moment in silence before chuckling a bit. "Now now little one, I cant remember ever denying my followers to enjoy the pleasures of the flesh. That is mearly something those who came before you thought I asked of them. But NEVER have I said such a thing. Now, just stand tall and keep the oath you gave me all those years ago. To serve and honor and i will have no quarells with you" was all the horned god said. With that he looked at his hands, still coverd by a red mist that had been the mans pain before he simply blew on them and the red mist disepeard into thin air. With that done he looked down at the priest, waiting as if he expected a second question.
"ofcorse he said, waving to the other soldiers to leave. He had a feeling that the young boy didnt want more company than necesarry.
The kitchenboy looked up as the soldiers told him to bring food to lord Aris he gave up a compalining sound. COME ON! He is going up in a three houers or so, cant he just get to sleep?! While cursing, and smacked by a older kitchen aid for doing so, he prepared a nice meal made up of chiken, potatoes, as well as fruits and a cup of wine. With everything on a plate he walked up to the chaimber and knocked on the door. "My lord? I was told you wished for some food." he said politely.

Aris
"Come in." Aris said surprisingly not aggressive. "And yes I did ask for food." He didn't care anymore to be harsh. He lost all need to. What was the point? He no longer needed to be bitter. He only somehow felt lonely. He didn't understand why but he was. He thought it was because of his brother's sudden and young death. He had been so caught up with himself he didn't think of others like his brother did. He sighed and stood up. He smiled weakly at the servant but yet he didn't know why.

Zarune~ 29 years old~ RG
This answer surprised him a bit, coming from the god he had betrayed. Though as he stated it was human to make mistakes. I vow I will never go against your word again. The priest answered slowly. I have but one more question...why? Why not let death take me? Am I not to join you again soon? I have done both the church and the king wrong surely one will get to me sooner or later. So why save me now? My body is weak, lame even. Why let me live and not the lord? Again his attention was drawn to the mist about the god's hand as it seemingly blew away with the wind. The thought that one held such power it was amazing really though Zarune knew all too well what power makes a person do. It causes one to think irrationally, to cloud their judgment into making them think themselves invisible to danger, invincible to pain though it is just a sad illusion. Then death and pain come and one pays the price more so than they would have any other way. That had been what he had thought, the power from the gem had made him thing himself a God and now look where he was! Merely had he slipped from death's grasp this time, next time he wouldn't be so lucky. Look at the mess he was in! Cullyn would no longer trust him, Molly hated his guts, and the king would kill him for what he did. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Molly~25 years~RG
If that is what you wish. The maiden said fighting off tears as she stood head hung in shame. She had messed up and now it was showing through. Cullyn please. Molly begged looking down at the little boy. Just do as your father says. With that said she gave him a sad smile before hugging him tightly. A single tear fell from her eye as she did. This was it, it might as well be the last time she ever sees the boy. The court would rule her guilty and her title would be removed with or without her consent. It might as well been the end of her life. Everything she had worked for was slowly slipping away between her fingers, like the sand of an hour glass. Gone with the wind that seemed through the walls. Was this how a mother felt when she was bore the news of her sons passing in the war? When the wagon stopped at her home and the guard shook his head telling that sadly her pride and joy was never to be held in her arms again The woman would grieve for the child she was never to see again thus this is how Molly felt now. There was a hole in her heart it seemed, an empty hole full of longing for the child that was never her's. It seemed not so long ago when she had held the squirming infant that was Cullyn after his mother passed, now she was walking away from him with tears stinging her eyes. With shaking hands she removed the helm from her head allowing the near golden mane of hair fall about her shoulders. Why wear it? There was no reason now, there was no one left for her to watch over. A sinking feeling filled her gut as she slowly made her way back to her room where she retired the armor that she so valiantly wore for so many years before now. No now a similar blue dress covered her body from the view of everyone. Molly took a breath still fighting back the urge to cry though it was not enough. Once the first tear fell so did the next and so on until she was sobbing into her hands. Never before had she felt this way about anything, it was as if someone had ripped her heart from her chest. This was a fate worse than death.

Without turning he handed her the small blade he carried with him at all times. That left him with only the lute on his back. Pulling the instrument free from his back he held it out in front of him as if it was a weapon. The brush around them rattled with movement. "Don't suppose you have any ideas?" Now he was starting to get worried. He had taken on wolves before but never like this! He had always been alone though and had been able to climb a tree and escape. Now he was with the woman whom he was sure couldn't and wouldn't flee from battle. What were they to do? Stand here and be torn about by wolves? No he would fight till the death, to save his honor and dignity as well as the woman.

Amsden of the Sapling ~ King ~ 65 ~ Currently in: RG
The old king looked at Molly and his son with chilling eyes. As the two gave one a other a hug his eyes narrowed and once the woman left Cullyn he just signed for the chaimberlain to take the child and leave. The man was in no mood what so ever for anyone to be near him right now. He could hear his son protest quiet highly to the man but that was nothing he cared about. He just needed some piece and quiet as well as getting some work done. So as the door closed he turned to the fireplace, looking at it for a moment before looking at the documents once more.

When Molly told him off from arguing with his father the young child looked up at her. Eyes filled with confusion and tears. She doesnt want to be with him? But as she gave him a hug he wrapped his arms around her, holding her tightly, not wanting to let go. But as she let go and stood up he feelt hr slip through his arms and as she walked away he hurried after her. "MOLLY!" e yelled but as the chaimberlain grabbed grabbed his shoulder while closing the door behind them the prince simply shaked of the hand. "DONT TOUCH ME!" he screamed at the man before turning and running away after Molly. But the man caught up, stopping the prince by taking his hand. "MOLLY!" he screamed on the top of his lungs but as she didnt come he just feelt his tears falling down his cheeks. Confused, with a feeling of lonliness sweeping across him he just sat down in the corridor, looking after Molly while trying to understand what had happend. The only safe spot, the only constant varible was gone and he feelt so lost. The one that had guided him throughout his entire life, had caught him as he fell, held him as he cried and keept him safe was gone. All of the sudden, the safety he had feelt his enitre life, the illusion he had held so dear that he would never be left just burst. After sitting in the hallway, tears all the time falling down his cheeks , for quiet some time the boy got up on his feet, walking away with the chaimberlain not more than three steps behind him. "I dont like you at all!" the prince protested to the man that just smiled patiently. "I know my prince" he replied as if the boy had stated that the sky was blue. As the child walked into the library he simly shashed the door in the mans face simply trying to get a reaction but nothing happend, the man just walked in after the boy as calm as if nothing happend at all.

As she got the dagger she slowly bent her knees and with that ripped the lower part of her dress. This would allow her to move better. "I sorta have" she answered to his question, handing him the dagger again. Once he hold it a movement caught her attention and with swift, soundless movements she dashed to it. As she aproached the bushes the wolves simply charged and with movements that seemed unnatural she just jumped of the animal landing behind them. Confused they stoped, looking at her, the man and back at her. But as the smell of dried blood came from her she was in the end more intresting than the man. And thus they turned towards her. Well it was probably time for some exercise anyway so with quick, swift movements she lured the pack away. After having lured the animals away she jumped up a tree by taking of on a stone. Once on the branche she relaxed a bit. Okej, just time to wait them out now.

The god looked at him, thinking for a moment before shaking his shoulders. "As i said, I dont like sharing what is mine. But now, I have to go" he said simply disapearing into nothing. Thus leaving the priest alone in the emptiness that closely turned into the mortal realm. As he left the man he cast a last glance at him. Huh ... thats a intresting human to say the least. Frank, abit to frank but amuzing to be sure. This will be someone he will keep an eye on just for amuzement more or less.
The child nodded and bowed. "Is there anything else my lord or may I take my leave?" he asked politely with a slightly nervous tone. If he could he would simply run out but that would be awfully rude.

"You can leave if you wish." Aris said no anger in his tone at all. He closed his eyes and opened them. He then started eating silently. He chewed it slowly and was deep in thought. He was being so kind and he sorta liked it slightly. He thought of what his father was saying to console his mother. He knew he was not staying here. He knew it. But he didn't know where he was going. Was he going to the dungeons? No though he wanted to so he didn't hurt anyone else. He sighed and looked around. He wrote down something for the servants to find. He hid it knowing the servants would find it while cleaning. He had written about how sorry he was. He didn't understand why he did it but he signed his name on it and added sincerely before he wrote his name. He wished for his brother to have taught him better. He wished he could have changed then. Now he was walking around with legs like lead because of what he had done.

Zarune~ 29 years old~ RG
Just like he had been there, the god was gone leaving the priest to his own accords. With that his body slowly faded until he was nothing more in the relm of souls. With a gasp he woke to find that he was no longer in the wood not in what could only be classified as oblivion. Where was he? Blinking heavily he raised his head some to find himself laid out on a table for the whole of the world to see. The all too familiar smell of cooking herbs was the first real thing he noticed, though not long after the pain seemed to return throbbing in his shoulder and hand. There were people about, dressed in similar robes though they were of different stature. Herbalists, a step down from a priest though still a valuable part of society. But how had he ended up here? Grimacing he lowered himself down back onto the table. Had it been real? Had he really felt the presence of Finn? By the lords above! So it had been true, he had died then returned just as the stories told of warriors. How strange it would be to have a story of him, the story of Zarune. What a strange thought. Though now was not the time...he needed to find Molly. If not to beg forgiveness, then to thank her. If he was to die, he wanted it to be on good terms. Carefully, he rose to the sitting position. His vision blurred and darkened as wound on his shoulder stretched sending a shocking wave of pain down his spine. Lord that was going to take forever to heal. One of the herbalists passed him, in doing so he took hold of their arm. What day is it? He asked in a croaking voice. Dying really took it out of you.
Ruairi~23 years~DC
What are you doing?! He asked taking the knife back. Foolishly he took off after her lute still in his hand along with the dagger he had been given. Lord she was fast. The wolves were on her though upon her climbing of the tree their attention turned to the man that had been following. Well this is awkward The man breathed backing away some the lite in hand still. One of the wolves, a darker grey thing bravest of the pack, lunged at the bard though he recived a lute to the face before anything else. With a Yelp the animal fell away as the lute protested with a rather musical sound. There was too many to take on, even if he had the strength to. Yet another wolf, a white one, lundged now receiving the same treatment as the first. The lute groaned against the blow, threatening to give way. Now was his turn, thus he turned tale and bolted into the forest followed by the wolves. If it hadn't been for the young pine he would have been over taken by the animals. A low hanging branch provided him with a means up the tree away from the growling wolves below. Next time you wish to snack on a bard, do so to another. He panted. What an adventure this was indeed! Ending up in a tree, like a coon awaiting death. And a story it would tell.

Cullyn of the Sapling ~~ Crown Prince ~~ 5 ~~ Currently in RG
The boy glared at the man that ignored the hatefull eyes he got from the prince. The small child grabbed a chair and dragged it over the floor. "Do you want some hel..." "NO! Leave me alone!" he said in a upset tone to the man still dragging the chair over the floor. Once at a bookshelf he placed the chair against it before climbing up and taking down a heavy book that fell on his head. Quickly the man walked up to him but was quickly dismissed by the prince. "Dont go near me!" he growled at the man that a bit cautiously stepped back again, looking at the upset child. Right now Cullyn wasnt a prince, noble or even a firstborn. He was simply just a child that feelt lost, abandond and without what could only be described as his mother. Somply left on his own for the first time in his young life. With a upset face he carried the book to a table near a fireplace in the library and went back to put back the chair. Once the chair was in place he climbed up in the soft, padded armcahir that was next to the small, round table and took the book. The young child still hadnt even looked at the man that paitently waited about 2meters behind him, instead he looked down in the book. Slowly he read in the book, word for word and at times syllable for syllable. His eyes wanderd over the words in the massive and incredibly thick book. Probably one of the thickest in this massive library. "Here you go your highness" the man said all of a sudden, making the young prince jump from surprice. He had read quiet a bit of the book to be honest. A impressive job for anyone, specially someone as young as himself. "I dont want it!" the child said in a stubborn tone looking away from the man and the food. Simply ignoring his stomachs growl for food. "Now now your highness, Molly asked me to give you this" the man lied, feeling safe the woman wouldnt mind if it meant that the prince eat. "She did?" he asked after some time, glancing at the man who nodded. Happy with that he took the food and begun to eat.
Agrona of the Raven ~~ Poisonmaker master ~~ 22 ~~ currently in: DC
Once she landed safely on the branch she looked back, over her shoulders and got a surpriced look on her face. The man had followed her? And actually keept up? Thats impressive. Really impressive to be honest. Carefully she balanced out on the branches and jumped from tree to tree as she slowly tracked him down. It took her about 15minutes to catch up to him so she stoped in her own tree. "I must admit that im quiet impressesd, I did not expect you to keep up to be honest" she smiled as she sat down on the branch of her tree, the leg closest to him beeing exposed somewhat due to the cut fabric falling down towards the ground. Well atleast they had company while waiting for the animals to tire and walking away. When one of the wolves started growling at her she looked down before simply throwing a pinecone on its head. "Shut up mutt!" she said glaring at the animal that backed a bit surpriced by the attack from its potential dinner. Happy with getting the animal to back of she simply sat still, waiting again.

The man looked down at the paper and pointed at a mistake the oldest girl had made, scolding her quiet furiously. Paper is valuble and not to be wasted on mistakes! If she cant handle it she shouldnt do it! After having seen her do it properly he nodded aprovingly before looking at the boys report and smacked him hard as the boy had destroyed the paper arc compleatly. "YOu useless ******! That piece of paper is more valuble than you! Now go get a new report and if you make the same mistake again you wont be able to sit for two weeks" he threatend the boy that quietly sneaked away from his masters hands and words to do as told. The youngest of the aprentices showed its work and got a aproving nod before further instructions was given to her. The second youngest gave up a shriek as the priest grabbed her, having been in her own thoughts but quickly calmed down as her master came to the priest. "Its the same day as Molly brought you here your holiness. Althought I would apreciate if you didnt move, your wounds are still fresh and need resting" the master herbalist said before sending the girl to get some more bandages for the ... patient.
The boy looked at the lord before bowing deeply. "I wish you a good night then nmy lord" he said before leaving the room quickly. Not loong after the kitchenboy had left the chaimber Aris father enterd the room. Coverd in Emonts blood that had been carried over from his wife as he had hold her tight. "Pack your bags Aris. Neither me nor your mother wants you here for now, we need to calm down and think this through. I have already sent a hawk to the king that you will be arriving there.I will send a escort of 5guards with you, and once we have decided on what we should do with you, we will send for you to come back" he said in a empty, tired tone. His eyes was filled with tears that threatend to start falling anymoment. "Now, Il go tend to my wife. And you will leave as soon as you can" he said in a whispering tone.

Aris
He packed up his items and he knew his mother probably hate me for Emont's death. He wanted to say he didn't do it but it was Aris who had hired the Assassin and he was the one who Emont chose to face right before he died. He felt like breaking down again but he wouldn't. He would need a way of transport. He went out to tell the guards he was ready. He saw them at attention and he frowned. He wished he knew the way so he could go on alone but he knew it might take days to get to the King's Castle. Aris whistled for the guard leader to come forward. He bowed slightly and smiled. "I am ready." Aris said and now he didn't frown nor did he smile. But he was ready with his stuff in a horse bag that would attach to the saddle.

Zarune~ 29 years old~ RG
The grip he had on the child's arm slowly faded as she was pulled away from him. The man spoke though it hardly made sense to the priest. It was the same day? But it felt like an eternity that he had been lost from this mortal body, though now it felt much cleaner than when he had left it. Perhaps a blessing from Finn? He knew not the answer to that question. Clearing his rather dry throat he turned his head from the man to take in the scene of the room. All in all it was rather cold in the place though that may have been due to the fact that the only thing that covered his chest was a thin sheet of what could only be cloth that was meant to keep the wound on his shoulder from getting infected. The place was small, though it beat the spaces in the Temple were they were to bless the sick and dying. Herbs hung about though their numbers were alarming, had the crop failed maybe? All this though made his head spin some to think about, he was still weak from the lose of blood. How he had managed to survive was the real question, though only he knew that the god, The mighty Finn, had been his only saving grace. Than he let his attention land on the head herbalist. "And do you know where she is now?" Zarune said dragging himself to the edge of the table. He was not yet ready to stand though he knew that in the end he would have to do so sooner or later. Molly had to found, confessed to, then he had to get to the king. Unless of course the man came for him first. Both were a likely case.
Ruairi~23 years~DC
Breathing was still not something he seemed to be able to do. "W-what do you mean? Do you know how fast you are able to run? It was all I could do to stay as close as I could and still I was so far behind that I lost sight of you." He said fighting for breath between each word. It had been a long time since he had been ran that far let alone that fast, well ever since that butcher found him messing around with his daughter. It wasn't anything to be ashamed about, they were just talking. Sure it had ended with him kissing her lightly on the cheek just to make he blush but it was all in good spirits! The man nearly busted down the door when he found them thus the bard had to run for his life, literally. Same was here only it was a bit different with the wolves and all. Ruairi leaned back against the trunk of the tree, still panting. "I will have to say I have never met a woman that could run let alone fight like you." He chuckled a bit in looking over at her. A hand found its way to his face to move the hair from his eyes, he really needed to tie it back though it would prove unruly still despite his efforts. "Not to mention one with finer looks." He teased a bit. It they were to be stuck in a tree for the rest of the day why not make the most of it.
