Scavenger ability please

I sigh...that bori is definitely not near here with a hunter even a baby hunter near. I pick up a stick and toss it in the direction of the pup before darting into the bushes on the other side

The nytekrie ate her meal with pleasure, thinking on the orchard. She loves to enjoy the sun lying on the soft grass.
Aldaz looked at the faelora from time to time. She didn't know very well how they live, but she knows - oh, she really knows - how it feels to be hit by the antlers of a male faelora; also it's rare to see a single female. At this moment she was almost sure that the faelora was a acolyte of one deity, or had simply been lost.
Her curiosity was strong and she wanted to ask, but at the same time, her nature told her no. Should I ask her? She thought to herself.
Aldaz left the remains of the fish behind and went to the river to clean herself and drink water. The nytekrie saw the other female. After all, she could wait a bit before leaving, couldn't she?
"By any chance, are you an acolyte?" Finally she asked, looking at the faelora.

The lupora pup eyes Misha warily, squinting into the sun. It seems confused and doesn't answer Misha's question, but backs up as if to flee.

The morkko's large muzzle and toothy, yet reassuring, smile are rather close to the pup. Raika smells that this female has fought and won many times, but she doesn't seem threatening right now.

A stick flips out of the bushes behind you two and lands between you. Simultaneously, a streak of something bluish darts into the bushes opposite.

Bluebell hides in the bushes. While Misha's large head swings around, eyes narrowed and scanning the undergrowth, she is unable to pinpoint exactly where or what Bluebell is. Raika's (Hunter's Snout) tells her that an adolescent female zolnixi is crouching in the bushes slightly to her right.

What do you do?

The pup seem scared and alone, and Misha prepares herself to grab it if it tries to run. Instead her head whips around and her hackles rise as a stick flies out of the nearby underbrush. She growls warningly at the bushes, crouching in front of the pup protectively and showing off her impressive teeth and armor.

Bluebell knows that she had been spotted or at least sensed. Her brothers used to mock her for her clumsiness and now she knew why. She knew that if she fought the battle hardened beast she would lose but as she was already spotted she knew hiding was now useless. She slunk out of the bushes but pulling her wings into a more easily take-off position in case she had to run...well fly away.

East

Artemis settles in the sun, allowing her leaves and petals to unfurl, as she feels safe in her truce with the nytekrie, watching the nytekrie tear into the fish in the corner of her eye. She's decided that maybe she will head for the orchard, but perhaps later. She shifts and makes to stand up as Aldaz lopes over, but settles as the nytekrie sits some ways along the river and turns to her. "By any chance, are you an acolyte?" she asks, eyeing Artemis's flowers and the way the grass around her plumps and seems to lean towards her.

The sun is setting, what do you do?

The concept of hiding is still unknown to the little pup, so she freezes in place. Another new creature? And where where was...*Mama?" she croaks, by instinct more than even knowing for sure what a "mama" even is.

Artemis jumped slightly as the nytekrie spoke to her. After processing what she had said Artemis nodded. "I am." She said quietly, "My deity is Faerina." The faelora looked up at the setting sun as she spoke, hoping that the lack of sunlight wouldn't bring too much danger. "Do you know if there are many lupora packs in the orchard?" Artemis asked the nytekrie cautiously.

West

Misha growls and rattles her scales, still guarding the pup, and a winged and runed zolnixi slinks out of the bushes, wings half-open, head low, and expression wary. Her expression changes to confusion as Raika peeks out from behind one of Misha's legs. "Mama?" Misha takes her eyes off Bluebell to look, equally bewildered, at the little lupora. Misha and Bluebell note that Raika seems uncertain about the word, as if testing it for the first time.

The sun is setting, what do you do? Bluebell's (Night-blind) is beginning to hamper her, and she is beginning to squint into the dusk. (Misha and Raika can see fine.)

(OOC @Lampy: Maybe do a little more of what's happening around the characters, rather than forcing the moves of the characters themselves?)

Pass; she's pretty much frozen in place with confusion.
