"Insects" Challenge

Thank you everyone who has participated and given great critiques to your other members! You've done really great so far. If you have fulfilled all requirements, your design will be displayed below, and or another ENTRIES THUS FAR posting. If you do not see your designs below with in this post or another post of this kind it could be for a number of reasons. It could be that you haven't submitted a design yet, which you have until the deadline (Sunday at 5pm CST) to do so. Secondly you missed fulfillment of a requirement or two, to which you have up until deadline to resolve....Or your submission was not turned in during the most recent update. If that is the case, with the next update you should see your design properly displayed. Otherwise, if you have any questions and or concerns please by all means contact me, Celt, Bunny, and or Lupveori and one of us should be able to help you. I'm very sorry. I added some detail, and I changed the whole design because it didn't fit the reference well enough.

Critique: The fae has 3 genes, but I can only really see one. I made the genes a little more different and got rid of orchid. On the bug, I see a little bit of green which doesn't show in your design. Getting rid of orchid allowed me to add some of that green.

Though your "cute beetle" design is unique the Cute Beetle seen in your reference photo is a work of photoshop. In order for that design to be accepted as well as your other entries please alter the name/reference image. Their are many other blue toned beetles that could work quite well for your design.
