"Okay. It's not like I'm going to be going anywhere soon. Unless it's the dragon appocolypse. See ya!" Ashes says, and waves, deciding to see the dragons up close for himself.

then goes inside
" i'm back, dad, you won't beleive what happened."

Her dad sighed, looking up from a tiny book. "What is it, my little night butterfly?" He said quietly.

The dragons were still in their cages, I guess, when Ashes walked in, trying not to anger any of the dragons. He just wanted to look at them, and admire them. "Aren't you all beautiful?" He whispered, looking at them.

(interest ping?...don't know if i can do that...)

" Nicky almost got turned to ash."

( dew isn't here, so i think it's ok.)

"Well, that isn't the first, I suppose. Anything else?" Nick came in at that moment, and he glared at Luna. And then stormed up the stairs.

" he called me a fat old crow. other than that, not much else."

Their dad gave a short sigh. "I'll talk to him later about that. You can rest assured, he will not get away with it."

" don't worry about it, you have enough to do, i got him back for it anyways. can i help with dinner?"

Dad sighed, and looked at the clock. Time had slipped through his fingers. "Sure. The supplies are over there." He said, and pointed to near the stove. "I'll be over in a few. This new chief is quiet a handful..."
