I can't imagine. I mean how do make changes on areas of the site already in progress without lots of bugs? Obviously seems to be working for you though. But I know I would be introducing all kinds of issues if I tried that route.

I actually find it a lot faster to work locally anyway though. Don't have to connect to the server or push things up. If it was a separate live dev server then that would be pretty annoying.
