Kayla~

The hit was like a punch, but she was used to it. Amelia had trained her enough on that one. That had been a hard lesson to learn. She needed to keep a level head. Don't let this woman read her, don't let your moves be known. With a swift kick she dislodged the knife in her shoe and kicked that the woman. Though the blade didn't hit her the blow was enough to knock her off her feet while the girl made her escape. Smoke bombs. One hit near the cat woman another just a bit away as the girl made an escape for the trees where she hid in wait.

(OOC: The only way to kill a demon is to make them expend all of their mana and then deal a killing blow. Depending on how powerful the demon is this task can be as easy as dealing a single fatal attack, or as difficult as... well, you'll find out.)

(Kayla doesn't know that, she's just trying to get some gold. If she doesn't have to kill him she won't have to.)

Holly~
She growled under her breath at the sudden smoke screen, she was really pushing her luck she would have never won a fight with that girl but she knew better than to stay still or rush out blindly so instead the moved through the smoke almost bumping into the man who should have been dead, but her feet stopped. something wasn't right this man was still alive.... and burning hot at that...like his body was fighting of his wounds like a normal infection. Her hunch was right, He was nothing like the others. she flattened her ears at the sound of his pain almost as if she could fell it, but instead of run and make sure her own hide was safe she took up a defensive position not to far away from him her senses on high alert for the girls movements, and any others nearby.

(OOC: I know that, I'm just telling you players. Even in the story this isn't exactly common knowledge.)

Kayla~

There was no use in standing around waiting, she had bigger fish to fire than these two. And all she had gotten from it was a sore chest. Rubbing it lightly she stood and jumped to the next tree done with this game. Maybe another poor soul will be walking the roads for her to pick off.

Holly~

Holly flicked her tail and ears as the smoke cleared along with the girls presence. she relaxed and turned to the stranger who was still writhing in pain in front of her. his blood seeming to burn the earth it touched so she decided it best not to touch him. Instead she crouched down and flattened her ears. " Looks like you got this whole not dying thing down to a science" she said with a slight smile not sure how to help him other than wait it out and keep watch for him.

~Alciel~

Alciel fell backwards against a tree and panted heavily, his whole body was shaking from the pain he was still feeling. His wounds had only healed to the point where they were no longer fatal, from here on the healing would be accelerated considerably but nowhere near as rapid as it had been when his life was in danger.

"Well, this does complicate things some... I might have to kill you now." His tone was almost apologetic as he looked at the girl. As if this quivering, breathless man thought he could do away with her so easily.

~Eigus~

At the sound of Alciel's agonized screams Eigus rushed towards the sound without a second thought. It was only when he came into view of the scene that he stopped dead. "What has happened here? Is everyone alright?" Though he spoke with a tone of calm concern, Eigus had his hand grasped firmly around the cloth wrapped handle of his pike. He was ready to strike at any moment.

Holly~

The Felis sat cross legged on the ground and only flattened her ears sadly as he spoke he looked so frail, yet he was still in a state that could easily overpower her, and she had used most of her mana, so there was no use in running from him or even trying to fight back. a old familiar voice rang in her mind " Stop it Holly! your gonna get your self killed!" she smirked a little maybe she had finally met her match this time, oh well there was nothing to fear, death didn't scare her. Her thoughts were shattered by the centaurs voice approaching, though she stayed seated and flattened her ears before speaking, " Its fine.... the assailant is gone... we should start heading to Kresh we still have awhile..." she said not making eye contact with anyone.

Silas (Marcurio)-

He looked up at the sound of the scream. "What the-?" He cursed jumping to his feet only the find himself face to face with a girl. He stumbled back startled.
"Father?" The girl asked with tears in her eyes. Father? Oh god...
"Kayla?" The man said near tears himself. It was, it was his baby girl. She was grown, all grown up. Nodding the girl let her tears go as she hugged the man. After all these years...he thought she was dead.
