Alciel felt a blade plunge into his neck, shortly followed by the weight of a body landing on top of him. He let out a cry of pain that was distorted by the sound of gurgling blood from the wound. He collapsed to the ground as dark blood poured from the wound. He had let his guard down and now he was paying for it.

Music. It was simply music to her ears as was a jingle of cash in her pockets. The force of impact was enough to buckle her knees some though landing on the man had made it to where they wouldn't break. Her attention turned quickly to the woman. Now to deal with her. Leaving the blade embedded in the man's neck she lunged at the cat like woman clearly ready for a fight. Even if it was hand in hand she was confident that she would take the upper hand.

Alciel watched as the blood spilled freely onto the ground around him, as it quickly slowed to a stop, and as the grass it made contact with began to smoke without any evidence of flames. He carefully pulled the blade from his neck, he hated the feeling of being stabbed, of not being able to breathe. He clamped a hand over the still open, yet no longer bleeding wound and spat the blood out of his mouth. Struggling to breathe with the opening into his windpipe, Alciel stood shakily. He could feel broken bones in his shoulder where the girl had landed and moaned eerily as he felt the unbearable pain caused by the shattered bones grinding against one another.

Her ears caught the sound a short distance away though this person was quiet the obviously did not know that these ears ain't just for show... she recoiled backwards her blade in hand as the girl made her move. she snapped her fingers with her free hand a flash of purple illumination surrounded her for a brief second before she hit the ground the dry leaves crackling under her feet. she wasn't one for fights, but there was no use in running. " Your quite sloppy for an assassin... may I assume your a petty thief?" she said her tone sharp and sassy as a smirk lit across her face. Her words were another weapon she could use here, this girl obviously took pride in her abilities, too bad she let that show to a trickster suck as herself. Her smirk grew as her tail twitched.... this was going to be a fun play toy....

What?! The man wasn't dead?! A blow like that should have done the trick in a snap! It wasn't like she was asking much, just for him to stay dead! Barring her teeth she tossed a knife at the man before turning back to the girl. "An assassin? A inadequate term." She growled rushing the cat like person. If she could just get the cat to a tree, or herself. That would be better.

She chuckled standing her ground before switching her blade to a defensive position right as the girl was upon her, and with lightning fast speed she brought her knee up so it connected with the girls chest before moving out of the way of the girls impact, with this enchantment it felt like she had all the time in the world, but to her opponent it was like she was moving at insane speeds. Her blow wouldent have been strong at a normal speed, but at that speed it was at least enough to knock the wind out of someone. " You are a pretty pitiful assassin... mind explaining yourself scavenger..." she said the posture low to the ground and tense like she could attack at any moment her tail swaying playfully above her head as she crouched. This girl was easy to read, and even more easy to get worked up.

Alciel was still dazed when he felt the second knife slide smoothly between his ribs. He staggered back and reflexively grasped the hilt of the knife where it had entered his chest, just above where his heart should have been. He coughed and sputtered before wrenching the blade from his chest and tossing it aside.
A thick mist the colour of red wine seemed to seep from the wound but quickly dissipated and was lost amongst the smoke from the grass at his feet. He had to contain the miasma, or else this entire forest would burn. He felt his demonic power surge within himself in reaction to the damage to his body. He seemed to radiate heat as his wounds began to close. The pain of healing far surpassed the pain of the wounds themselves, and he cried out in absolute agony.
