He might of answered had it not been for the dogs bark. "Minnie?" Wincing he stood, holding his left side as he rushed to the front door. "******! Minnie! Go find August!" What if the soldiers had him? Or worse he was dead? The man had promised that he wouldn't let anything happen to any of these childern...if was too high of a risk of any of them where found. Just imagine what they could do with them if the government got their hands on them.

Several things happened very quickly then, the boy who had been snoozing on the porch shot to his feet at the same moment that an old woman and a young dark haired mad came bursting through the front door.
As soon as these people arrived the dog, who seemed to be named Minnie rushed towards him and grabbed his sleeve. She dragged him out into the open so quickly that he only just barely had time to lift the boy back into his arms.
He was exposed. Crow fluttered down and perched on his shoulder as the whole scene went eerily silent as the three strangers stared at Nick.

(just to be sure, Im feeling kinda dense today *cough*always*cough*, Nich is holding August in his arms?)

(OOC: Yes, he just might not have the best grip since he scooped him up so quickly.)

Ezili Smith ~~ 63 ~~ Her cabin

As she opend the door she was greeted with the sight of a tripping boy, wrapped in a blanket she had put over him. A man was pulled out from the bushes surrounding her cabin, and Blaen sitting down on the mans shoulder. Just ... just what was happening? She had never seen this man before but aperantly the bird was familiar with him. Unsusre of how to act she connected to the moist in the chilly nightair. If needed be she can always use it.





AJ ~~ 18 ~~ counclers room

He looked to the side, Myles?! He is up already? okej ... he really need to respect the man more!

Myles- 28 years- male

The sight of the man holding August was enough to cause his eyes to turn a bright blue color. He stepped forward, seemingly unhurt now, fist clenched at his sides. "Who are you?" The man asked fighting to keep control of himself. Summoning now would leave him out cold again, but if it meant saving the boy then he would let it happen.

Darci~ 12 years~ female

She woke with a start at the sudden bark. The woman wasn't there though clearly she had been seeing the blanket had been left. Tossing the cloth aside as if it were hot to the touch Darci stood with a yawn. Where was everyone? The sounds of voices brought her to the front door where she saw the others. AJ, Myles, the woman, and a strange man were out in the yard. He had a August. Instantly the blades slipped from her wrists. Had he hurt the boy?! What kind of man did that?! It was all she could do to stop herself from attacking him, though maybe it was best to hear him out.

This situation was escalating far more rapidly than he would have liked. Nick pulled away from the dog causing the blanket that was only really half covering the boy at this point to slip off and fall onto the ground, revealing the boy to be shirtless and bound tightly in bandages around the torso and thigh.
Crow cawed from his perch on nicks shoulder while giving the dog a rather stern look which seemed to cause her to quiet down some, though she paced around nervously sniffing at august and nick.

Just who were these people, mutants? If so it wouldn't be wise to get into a fight with so many of them. Putting on his best diplomacy face, Nick took a careful step forward and turned the boy in his arms to that they could see him better. "Look I'm not here to cause trouble, but this boy is hurt pretty badly and I could only do so much for him by myself." His voice was pleading and he felt tears welling up in his eyes. He couldn't say just why he was getting so emotional but the feeling passed too quickly for him to really understand it. "Please, he's lost a lot of blood but he's still alive. If there's anything you can do... I have a transfusion kit but I don't know what his blood type is... please... help him."
He was practically begging at this point. All he could do was hope that these people were willing to help, they seemed to know the boy so maybe one of them would know his blood type or perhaps one of them was O-. He could only hope...

Ezili Smith ~~ 63 ~~ Her cabin

She looked at the man with the boy in his arms, listening carefully at what he said. "Werry well then, come on in." she said. "With a movement of her hand she got the water in the air surounding them to push the man forwards. She isnt scared to be honest. The air is filled with moist for her to use at leisure, and not to mention the lake that isnt to far of. She may be old, her body stiff and slow but she have something far more valuble than that of a young, able body. She have experience! She have 63years of experience, she have nothing more to loose, no family that can be taken from her.

He looked baffeld at the woman before looking at the man again. What ... is she serious?!

The color of his eyes changed back to normal before he calmed. Coughing a bit he relaxed putting a hand on his side again. For the sake of the child he had to keep it under wraps. "I can stabilize him but I can't give him blood." The man answered limping back into the house. Expertly he cleared the table of the food and put the blanket over it. "Set him on the table please." He instructed before moving to wash his hands.

Darci~ 12 years~ female

She could see now that the boy was just hurt. The bullets...they had hit him. Silently she followed. "I can give him blood..." She said shyly looking at the man. "If they are the same that is." For a friend she would give up everything, even if it meant her life.

Nick followed them inside and layer the boy down on the table. When the topic of the blood transfusion was brought back up his eye caught on the boys face again and somthing flashed through his mind. He was sitting at a wood dining table in a large well lit kitchen reading over some paperwork. The memory passed quickly but not before he blurted out somthing odd without thinking. "Augustus is type AB, he can receive from anyone."

The room went dead silent, the only sound was the noise of crow rustling his feathers from his perch on his shoulder. What the hell had he just said? He honestly couldn't remember, somthing about blood type? And who was Augustus? As far as he could remember none of these people had mentioned their names.
