First off, we want to greatly apologize for the lengthy downtime. Yesterday afternoon another issue with our DB occurred which caused some corrupted tables and lost data. However, during the restoration, our Host incorrectly processed it and ended up overwriting our live database. They then had to restore the live database which took about 6 hours. After that was finished, they then restored the database properly (another 6 hours)... but the backup wasn't correct. So after that... they had to restore it again properly with the correct backup (another 6 hours).

So at that point, we were at 18 hours just of restoration time which doesn't include back and forth communications and other tasks.

Once everything was restored properly, I was able to set the DB back the way it should have been pre-corruption.

However, this just puts us right back where we started waiting for the next issue to occur and repeat everything all over again. We've pretty much pinpointed the issue down to where it happens when our database restarts itself. The catch is that the ability for it to restart itself is already disabled and our Host is unable to figure out why it keeps restarting itself. Thus, they are escalating this issue to the software's dev team to investigate. So more downtime (scheduled downtime) may be occurring over the next few days if needbe.

I really hate that we're in this position and that you guys keep suffering because of the same recurring issue. But I promise you that we are doing everything that we can to figure out the source and correct it. It's just one of those software glitches that's very hard to pinpoint. =( We feel very powerless regarding this issue and it really sucks.

Hopefully, CPanel will be able to diagnose the issue and correct it for us. In the meantime, we will do our best to keep things going and let you know what's going on.

Will the Spring Festival be extended any due to this issue? I got some seeds late so it will affect their growth...

Edit: I too have lost all my fertilizers etc. Also just wanted to say I appreciate all the updates. Not everyone does that.

Hey Krin, I hate to cause even more problems for you, but I seem to have lost all my fertilizers/nutrients.

Edit: Skype chat is commenting that there's a lot of general wackiness going on with the gardens - extra seeds, missing ferts/nutrients, the fertilizer level on already planted seeds changing....

I know this must be a nightmare, even more for you guys than it is for us!

With all the craziness, this is a small issue, but I thought I should report it: all of the enrichments I still had for my garden have disappeared (had about 10 each of the water and sun, and about 14 of the weed killer >>) Again, small issue and I'm not overly worried about it, but thought it should be reported ^.^

also i got more seeds then i had i only had 4 now i have 15

Lost all my plant enrichments and fertlizers, too. But I somehow instead ended up with lots of seeds I didn't have previously.

As much as I hate bringing up another issue, I've lost all of my fertilizers and enrichments as well. However, I'm also confused by the fact that I apparently now have a gazania seed and two coleus seeds that weren't there before?

I mean, I'm fine having them (Not that I have the supplies to grow them or even plant them by the 14th anyway) but if they were someone else's I wouldn't want to steal them...
