Guide to making gold
Guide to mission pets and missions

Though by token, you're going to have to specify- there's Peerless Avatar Tokens and Fest Tokens.
Peerless Avatar tokens are primarily prizes from placing in Fest forum games and suchlike, and are in scarce supply
Fest tokens are only available to be earned during fests and after the fest is over, expire (as of this last summerfest I believe all expired tokens will now be worthless, rather than having a gold worth?)

depends what you mean by that? Do you mean 'how do you heal a pet in a fight?', 'how to raise the stat?', something else? We'll need some clarification before we can answer the question

You can skip to the ** if you don't want to read the technical stuff
So, every pet's stat is displayed like
"11,772 / 11,772 (210 + 0)"

A/ B (C +D)

A being how much Health they currently have, B being their max HP, C being their base stat, +D being Grove Bonus Stat

(with other stat's it's just B (C +D))

B is composed of:

C, the base stat

+D, the grove bonus stat, which is only present for pets caught in the Lost Grove and their descendants (other pets have +0)

E, the level bonus (not sure about HP, but for Str/Int/Dex/Agi E = level, so a lv0 pet's E is 0, a level 30's E is 30 etc.)

F, the Proficiency bonus, which is how much their proficiency gives them if you've given them one or more proficiency points in that stat
and
G, the Equipment Bonus, which is what they get from their equipment for that stat

Let's take this offspring's Intelligence as an example
Intelligence: 464 (100 + 33)
B = C + D + E + F + G
464 = 100 base stat + 33 grove bonus + 30 level + 129 from 2 int profs + (22+38+56+56 = 172) from equipment

** So you can raise your pet's HP by raising their level, putting prof points to HP (usually reserved for Tank pets), and equipping them with better equipment

Base stats can only be raised while a pet is hatching (by manually hatching them, when you can get a +1 bonus to one of the four main stats at random, a +20 to HP, or use a Philter) or in hatchling stage via nurtures, and aside from that are fixed.
Grove bonus stats, as mentioned earlier, are exclusive to pets that were caught in the lost grove (the range of the stats varying by the rarity of the pet, the rarer the higher) and their descendants (though they drop slightly every generation)
(our example boy up there has max stats and grove stats because he's a result of a long breeding project to achieve that)

well, levels will come naturally as you progress through the story, mostly it's in the equipment (and proficiency points in whatever stats are relevant)

> make sure to fill all equipment slots on your party pets
> learn what kinds of equips go to what party position/element
> both the level of an equip and its rarity will affect the stats it gives
> uncommon equips are just generally garbage that should be replaced asap

(also if you haven't yet, you may want to go to Esior's Haven Plaza and get your second party slot unlocked)

You may also want to check this guide for a rundown on elements.
But a smaller rundown:
Most teams consist of (once you reach Sanctuary of Saerielle and can unlock your third party slot there) Tank, Healer, and Attacker (there are other setups, but that's the most common)

There are Physical elements- Water, Earth, and Air- which use the Physical Damage stat and Strength stat to calculate their attacks, and Magical elements- Shadow, Light, and Fire- which use the Magical Damage stat and Intelligence stat to calculate theirs.

With Relics, you always want to make sure it gives the pet the correct Damage stat boost, as otherwise you're missing out on a large bonus, as Physical elements do not use the Magical Damage stat at all and vice-versa.

Water, Earth, and Shadow (and sometimes Light) are Tank elements and go in slot 1 of the party.
They should get Agility-oriented gear (Assassin (str/agi) for Earth/Water, Illusionist (int/agi) for Shadow(/Light)), as Agility raises Evasion and defences

Fire and Air are dedicated Attacker elements, with no abilities that raise their own defensive or evasive stats, nor any abilities that allow them to heal themselves (other than Block and Mend) or which lower enemy stats. They use Dexterity, which raises Critical hit chance and accuracy- Evoker (int/dex) for Fire pets and Myrmidon (str/dex) for Air pets

Light is usually the party Healer, and it usually get equipped with Evoker also when in that position. (Some people use water buffers, which would get myrmidon instead)

(I'd suggest taking a look at the pinned guides in the player guides forums, but some other useful ones are guide to making gold and guide to missions and mission pets)
