make sure your party setup is good, with your pets equipped, statted, and placed in the party in a way that suits their element

At the moment your James has neither his element or proficiency point assigned and Scarlett's relic is a Magical Damage type relic while she's an Air element (Strength/ Physical Damage element, doesn't use the magical damage stat at all)

Since Scarlett's an Air pet (pure attacker element, best equip type: Myrmidon (str/dex)), James should be a more tank or survivalist element (Water, Earth, Shadow, or Light) and in slot 1, equipped with Agility based gear (Assassin for Water/Earth, Illusionist for Shadow/Light)

Does anyone have tips on how to level up your character (avatar, profile, etc.)? I've been stuck on level 47.

your player level is based on the highest level a pet has grown to while on your account.
(It just determines the highest level of pet you can put in your party)

no, at least not yet, this towns story ligne is not quite compleated and the LG was added as an extra feature to allow players to keep on progressing while the main story was being made. I was hopping that we would get access to test items in the LG at least but so far nothing.

You'll want to fully equip both Rose and Mystic, and assign Mystic's Prof point (probably to Int- a Fire pet's profs at lv70 are almost invariably 3Int/2Dex)

Rose as a a Shadow Tank pet (should be in slot 1 of the party) needs Int/Agi boosting equipment (Illusionist is the main kind), Mystic as a fire pet needs Int/Dex boosting equipment (Evoker being the main kind)
You'll want to always make sure the Relic you're giving to a pet has the right damage type (Shadow and Fire are both Magic elements)
Both level and rarity influence an equip's stats (with Uncommons being. Absolute worst. Terrible. Bad)

(unfortunately I cannot offer equipment boons because I don't actually have any tradable equips under lv25)


But just doing those two things- equipment and the prof point- you should see a difference (for a start, having his prof point assigned to int and no other difference will jump Mystic's damage output from 13 to 35)
