You are able to lower yourself into the tunnel without hurting or breaking anything. The tunnel was a couple of feet taller than you were, so you are not able to get back out. There's dim lighting from cracks in the ceiling of it.
What do you wish to do?

Julien stopped walking, noticing the smoke and dust. "What's going on?" He looked around for other signs of a fire or something. "Ruk, can you tell?" he asked, hoping the tall orc might be able to see more than he could.
The young boy looked up at you with slight anxiety on his face. "What do you need help with?" he asked. Your companion had stayed behind as requested.
"I'm sorry to bother you while you're ridin' around there," Lisette said, leaning on her knees. "But I was lookin' to go on an adventure around these parts, but not sure where to go first. Do you know anything interesting out in the lands far from Ilamoor?"

Malak was so far out of his depth he could see no humor in the situation either. He felt rather vile and horrid for not thinking about Elysetta's moods and behaviors. He took a deep breath and tried to repair his mistakes.
"I do still have some dried fruit and nuts in my pouch," he said to her, "You really should eat something before we leave in the morning." He closed his eyes briefly, trying to get a handle on everything he was feeling. "And I am sorry if I was making you mad. I was unaware I was doing so."

She looked down either direction first, trying to make out if anything was hidden in the dark, but also listening.
(Do you want me to change Village to Tribe in my backstory?)

{ Great work on the book!! It's very nice to see the world building behind the scenes and know a little more of what's going on in the world of Gilador. Also sorry for the delay, was out with a friend all of yesterday and couldn't find a moment to reply. }

Helja put a single hand on her hip as she looked around. There was no reason to really buy anything right now, she figured. Nothing else really seemed her business either. She gave the scene one more glance overall before shrugging; no matter what she had to do something in the end. She started making her way over to the only thing that seemed interesting enough.
"Hello?" she asked, stopping a few feet away from the goblin and waving a hand to catch his attention. "Are you okay?"

As they leave the town, she looks at her new friend,
"So were you and your father going on a trip to meet with other family? Or just traveling to see new places? I myself am out to just experience what life has to offer. I have to admit, it is better to have someone to talk to while traveling than being alone. Thanks for coming with me, Ragna."
She didn't want to constantly make the young dwarf feel like a child, and in truth, the younger dwarf had just been thrust forcefully into a fend for yourself situation. If she could help her either find relatives or somewhere she felt comfortable and safe, then she would be happy with that.

You couldn't find any other signs of a fire, but this part of the path seemed somewhat familiar. You were almost certain you'd been here before. There was more smoke off in the distance. Ruk pointed in the direction where there was more smoke and dust floating about, puffs in the sky.
What do you wish to do?

The little boy gave a small shrug and turned his toy around, making explosion sounds with his mouth. "My momma once took me to the swamp, and it was gross there," he told you.
