"Ah, sorr. Touchy topic?" Nicote grimaced. He genuinely did not mean to bring up bad memories. "But yeah, this place is...something else. I can see why you'd want to keep it...y'know. Not-burned."

They kept silent for a while, seemingly hesitating before answering. " This place, or as we tend to call it starting point, is a bit more then a normal environement in a pocket dimention... With your language it is dificult to give exact details... let just say this is an extention of my being..."

"Definitely no arson then." NIcote nodded. He wasn't sure hwow to say it either (hey, he wasn't the word guy in his friendgroup of nerds, alright? He just threw ideas around and mumbled random stuff and made things happen-) but he had an idea.

The blue eyed dog nodded in agreement, not adding anything to his previous explanation.

"Alright," I say and walk backwards a bit before turning towards the vent. Crawling back inside I say, "I'm guessing I just follow your directions again?"

" I think it would be simpler then to try giving you the directions from memory... especialy since everything look similar in there from an human eye..." He said following you, tho his tone seemed to imply that this wasnt the only raison as to why he was coming with you this time around.

Small pawprints seemed to have been burned into the floor in various places and a strong smell of chimical desinfectant was lingering in the air.

He took a mental note that the fire one from earlier and whatever had smelled like chemicals might've been the two bickering/fighting. The real question was why now... maybe it had something to do with that other message. He shook that last idea out of his head, gibberish wouldn't help him and that's what the other email/e-message seemed to be

The answer to this would probably appear at some point, or maby there was a way to ask around to know more about it. One thing was clear, they seem to be alot more tied to their origin point then what the scientists had tell you before you joined.
