The door had either been a number or whatever had been chasing him through the vents earlier... so it shouldn't be too much of a problem...now the application would be a pain to learn how to use. He started messing around trying to figure out the best way to send a message

Now that you were closer you could see littles irrigularity on the glass like material, pale yellow circles in it like the growth rings on a seachell.

Interesting....he looks for patterns or similarities vetwene pieces. If theyre all similalr or all different that might be interesting but if they didnt follow any trends....

He does try picking one up though.

Unsurprisingly the app was not user friendly, whoever had designed it had placed each individual options in different interface causing you to have to start from the begining multiple times but you eventualy managed to pull out the message options from the mess.

The piece felt slightly warm in your hand, you could see that some of them had another color hue then the yellow ones ranging from a pink to green tho their colorations was very subtile and not as eye catching as the yellow as been. Strangely, most of the surface of the scale was compleately smooth but a small area near the middle of the bottom had a rougher feel to it.

Nicote rubs his finger over the rough patch again. Huh, weird. This was probably paet of skmething....maybe the pieces fit together? That would make sense....right?

The others seemed to also share a similar patern of being compleately smooth outside of a very small area, indicating that they may have been attached to somthing or that a piece of it was missing.

Xanthus was a little annoyed with the technology already but he attempted to send a test message to the scientists.

Object: Testing

It wasn't a long message, but it was just to make sure it worked

The message took it's time to actualy be sent but once it did, you were rewarded by a green check mark and the words "sent successfully" flashing on your screen.

This what then that you felt somthing differen within the air of your room, a faint smell of smoke mixed with somthing else, somthing chimical and cold.
