The priest nodded and fell into step behind the king. At least the castle was full of rather nice people, he was bound to make a few friends if nothing else. He didn't even know the boys name, that was amusing. One day the boy would be king, what if that day came sooner than he was ready? If the king was to kill over right now then what would become of the boy? Zarune was tempted to ask but he was already in enough trouble as it was. So he simply followed taking in the sights as they walked along the halls. "This is a really lovely place you have here, correct me if I'm wrong but was it built..." He paused for a moment to study the architecture. "I would say nearly 400 if not more years ago? This style it is rather old."

"Thank y-." He was cut off as the girl slammed the door in his face. "Well then..." The man sighed and turned away from the door. Someone raced off right passed Camel. Bandits?! He was inclined to follow them, but the mission at hand? Screw it! He needed a good kill to get the blood flowing! He raced to his horse's side having not tied him and raced after the rider. Nearly close enough...there! He jumped tackling the woman off her horse. Arcadius winced as he hit the ground, having landed on a rather lumpy rock. Pulling himself to his feet he pinned the girl to the ground. "What is the meaning of this?!"

"its older, a lot older" he said looking back at the priest over his shoulders. "We have records of it existing before the last war, the split ouer land into what it is now. That damed Haki ..." he answerd, the last sentence beeing mutterd. Despite the massive war beeing loong forgotten from any memory other than with those studying it, the scar is still fresh and open in the royal house. Its like a wound that refuses to heal, no matter the care and love given to heal the wound it stays open. And just like a wound is pesterd by flies, larvas and pain, so is this. The flies beeing all those darn history lessons the young ones re taught. the larvas eating the flesh is the other royal houses remembering it as something joyous. And the pain is nothing more than the humuliation to not only the one holding the throne, but the country and its people as well. As he walked past a ornamented pillar in the corridor he by pure habit let his old, naggerd fingertips touch it. Something he had done since he was nothing but a small kid running around and terrorizing everyone in the castle. "So, I asume you can read, write and count ..." he said looking at the young man.If he cant do that then what use does he have of the man? Nothing, if he cant do that much then he is simply just useless. Nothing more than a disgusting piec of crap that you accidently steps in.

As she had finally begun to feel a bit more awake she stopped stretching her body. Okej thats enough to stay awake for some time. With a smile she sat down only to hear a sound from the back. Somewhere out in the raven like night a twig was broken. Some leaves was rustling and with a calmmovement she grabbed one of her daggers as the sounds got closer and closer. "Hi, mind if we share the campfi..." the hard almost rusty voice died as she glanced over her shoulder. "oh my, what are you doing alone here?" he asked but as Agrona didnt answer he got a bit tense looking back into the woods. *So there is more than one?* she thought before standing up. "Im just out gathering herbs" she answered and let her arms rest against her sides. The dagger were well hidden and impossible to notice unless they knew it was there. "oh I see ..." he answered her and nodded politely. "Mind if I share ..." there he was cut of. "You? Just a moment ago you said we, and you keep looking around, so tell your friends to come out" she said in a commanding voice. The man looked surpriced but raised his hand and out came a second man. Both looked lik they had a strong build. Probably used to hard work all day loong and even nights at times. If they take her my surprice she will be in trouble. She will be able to take them on no problem as loong as she manages to take them by surprice. "So... you are alone?" the second man asked. "Oh no, im waiting for my husband, he is just getting some water" she lied calmly.

"What do you want!" Annabelle growled. "I have to get going to the castle! Or else my father is going to send knights after me.... and I don't think you want that." Annabelle shoved him off. Annabelle dusted off her dress and whistled. Her horse stood still. Annabelle got back onto her horse. "So what do you want?" Annabelle asked now calmer. Annabelle pet her horse.

The priest smiled lightly taking this as a joke. "Yes I can read. I can write in more than one language, and fonts. Which type of counting do you mean? I even know how to do some geometry." Zarune bragged a bit. "All of which I can teach the boy." He added with a wide smile. This seemed like it would be fun, not only would he get to teach the child magic but he could also teach him how to read, how to speak all the different languages, how to write, even do math! It was such an honor. "I'll do as best I can." To live in the castle, or at least stay in it that alone was a blessing. It was just too much to take in. Did this place have a library? If it did, did that mean there would be new books for him to read? Hopefully! To learn new things that was amazing! So much knowledge that he could have right at his finger tips!

The castle? Why would she be going there? "The castle? Why would a baker like you want to go to the castle?" The man asked crossing his arms over his chest. It made no sense at all as to why that would be, Was it better just to leave now? Ebony squawked warning him of a danger that lurked somewhere hidden. "******...got to go." he said jumping on his horse and taking off after his crow.

He looked at him in silence. Bragging? He is not the usual priest that is for certain. he is a lot more ... bragging than any priest he have meet. Most are humble and calm. And here he now have a priest full of energy and filled with pride. Well they are always proud of serving their god, but to brag like this? Thats new. Or atleast its rare. He was silent for a loong time just looking at him with his sharp, examining stare. "Good, my son is already bored out of his mind with what the priests from Bels temple is teaching him. He can read a little bit althought more formall letters goes slowly. He know simple addition and subtraction." he informed him before opening to a small but well decorated room. It hade a doublebed, stuffed with fresh hay and coverd in the finest linnens. The pillow were expensive as they were filled with feathers just as the cover, just that alone beeing worth a small fortune. Other than this there was a welldecorated and detailed fireplace, the sides have massive oaks carved into them as decoration. As well as that there was a elegant desk in dark oak and golden detailing and a padded soft chair. And on the floor instead of straw there was a beutiful rugg in a intricate pattern. "This would be your chamber while working here, I hope its to your liking." he said looking at the man.

"Well either way, may we share your fire?" the first one asked. "I dont think..." her sentence was cut short. "Well lets wait for your husband so he can decide then" the mansaid sitting down. Cautiously she sat down on the oposite side to the fire than the two men. occasionally they would look to the side into the forest as if they were following someone with their eyes. Oh, so there is even one more? This is not going to her liking. If she manages to kill the two infront of her before the third one intervenes she might still be able to kill the third one. A look at something behind her made her realice something or someone was right behind her. Just as she threw her slef to the right she saw a massive man, looking like a damed mountain almost fall to the ground. This is a guy she needs to take down at once. If she faces him head to head she will be the one killed, or kidnapped to pleasure them at their whims. As she jumped at the man she let her twindaggers fall out of their hidings but the first man suddendly stood inbetween them, parring the blades. DAMIT! Her luck is just crappy today! Frst that weird woman with the bakery and now she meets three batleworn men, all used to the struggles of the battlefield. Quickly backing and taking distance from the men she glanced at the three comrads. Every now and then she made sure to glance around so she was sure she wasnt having anyone else in the shadows, lurking. "oh my, this turned intresting. You are clearly not a herbalist thats for sure" the first one said, swinging his sword.

Annabelle hurried to the castle as fast as she could ignoring the man. Knights approached her. "Are you Lady Annabelle of the Silver Griffen?" One asked. Annabelle nodded and said. "I was coming to the castle right now. Are you here to escort me?" They nodded and one took hold of her horse while another let her get on his horse. Annabelle smiled and they took off.

The priest's face paled as he saw the bed and the room. Was this really his? But why such a fancy room for a humble priest? "Are you certain my lord? I would be fine staying in a lesser room." He said looking about. The bed looked inviting, this one was not made of stone as the one in the temple was. It was too nice. He couldn't possibly stay in here could he? "Thank you my lord." If only he had what little items he owned with him then everything would be wonderful. "When do you wish for me to begin the tutoring?" He asked clasping his hands together. If there was anything he loved more than learning himself, it was teaching others.

He stopped the horse at the dragon statue. There were men around a camp fire down there, maybe they knew where his master was. Slowly he walked down to the fire. "Oh my, this turned interesting. You are clearly not a herbalist that's for sure" One of the men said as Arcadius walked into the ring of light. Something was not right, he could feel it. He studied the others before making his presence known. Picking up a log that lay upon the ground he walked into the circle. "Sorry that took so long, had the hardest of time finding the way back!" He laughed looking up for what seemed like the first time. "And we have guest! Welcome! And what brings you fine gentlemen here?"

his darkblue, sharp eyes glanced at the priest that seemed ... confused? Yes, thats it. he lookd confused, as if he had seen some mythological monster beeing summond out of thin air. This, this odd confusion amused him slightly to be honest. It feelt as if he was watching a young boy trying to figure out a task that would be impossible for him. Kinda like a watertype magic natured man to controll fire. "This is a room for higherend servants so its compleatly fine. And you may start tomorrow." he said looking at the young man. "So you can just make your self at home, althought I guess my son will come asking you a bunch of questions later on" he mutterd te last part about his son. His son can be a bit to ... nosy at times. Curiously that little boy will ask anything to anyone. A few of his captains have at a few times told him about how the prince would just follow anyone around asking questions. While it wasnt apreciated that the young boy disturbed them while working, making them lose precious time on a strict schedual they cant really tell him off as he is the heir to the throne. So with polite smiles to the young child they answer his questions and take it with a grain of salt even if its the same question for the 50th time.

She blinked a bit dumbfounded a short moment before smiling a bit. Arcadius, a servant of the clan. "Welcome back darling" she smiled softly her daggers now gone as if she had never drawn them to begin with. The one that had attacked her from behindlooked between them before his eyes rested on the man. "So this is your husband?" he asked glancing back at her once more. After a moment of tense silence he looked at the man that had apeared out of nowhere. "I belive you said he were getting wa..." the sentence was cut short. In a quick, swift and soundless movement had she closed the distance and rammed her dagger through his neck so it stuck out through the throat. "To bad you pick up on details" she mutterd before pulling out the now crimson dagger. The two men stared shocked at her before they filled with rage over their fallen friend charged at her. The first one she swiftly dodged, with a soft and almost dancing move she stepped to the side while dodging a bit. A quick, strong kick from her found its way to his more ... precious area so he bent over in pain wich only gave her the oportunity to strike. But as she were to kill the bent man his friend attacked so swiftly she jumped over the man that was still desperatly trying to controll his pain. They arnt halfbad but they are not really good enough to be a serious threat for her. Not yet anyway. But at times like this she wished she wasnt just a assasin style fighter.

Annabelle arrived at the castle. She dismissed the knights and head to her father's house. When she entered she saw him sitting beside a bed that had been taken into the throne room and that the thrones were removed and flowers were laying around as well as presents. "What happened father?" Annabelle asked. She walked over to her father's side and saw her mother. Tears started to run down her face. Annabelle ran out got on her horse and raced to the dragon statue so that she could be alone forgetting about people being there.

"Many of thanks, my lord." The priest smiled walking a bit farther into the room to get a better look at his new living quarters. "I was young once, I know that children like to ask many questions. I promise that I will answer them to the best of my knowledge." In truth the man loved to be asked questions, even if they were repetitive, it was the joy of bringing knowledge to those that didn't know that excited him. It wasn't everyday that he got to pass on his knowledge. He wasn't one to boast but he knew quiet a lot, more than most his age and younger. Zarune smiled running his hand through his slicked back hair before retying his ponytail. "I won't disappoint you." He promised. "In the name of Finn himself I swear to you that." This was not something he normally did, then again he really wasn't suppose to be privately tutoring a royal without the temple's approval. No, that was where he put his foot down, it was time that he got to live for himself. He wasn't going back unless they hunted him down and drug him back.
Arcadius~ 26 years old~ DC
An evil smile spread across his face, twisting the scar on his face to an unpleasant and even painful angle. One man still stood aside from the one that was doubled over in pain from the timely kick to the groin. With light feet the man closed the distance between them using the log to his advantage. Arcadius swung back his arms, log in hand before hitting the shocked man in the gut with it. They crumpled some heaving out a heavy breath as the air rushed from his lungs, leaving him dazed. A knee to the chin fixed that, the blow enough to break the jaw. With the aid of a well placed hand on top of his head the man never knew he was even dead before his neck snapped. Arcadius again smiled rolling his neck and shoulders as he hopped lightly on his feet, as if he was just warming up. "Kinda wish there were a bit more of them. Could use the action." He smiled at the girl. Her name was lost to him but he knew her face. "You alright?"
