It wasn't a very long walk from the entrance, the kitchen was rather large, cubboard and shelves were occupying most of the space on the walls while a metal table surrounded by chairs was setted in the middle of it. Strangely, there were three fridges, one of witch seemed to have rust or dry blood on the side of it. You noticed that most of the surfaces of the area were littered with small scratches and cuts.

I wonder if the three fridges have anything to do with what the Number I was talking to earlier mentioned. Somewhat nervously, I check inside all of them, starting with the one with the rust.
There were indeed a few options avalable outside of the menu allowing you to order items, one of witch was a simple blank box with a speach bubble on it. That option looked like an old, probably not password protected vertion of a generic chat app, the type that would look shady and like a malware waiting to happen if it hadn't been instaled in sutch an high teck device.
"Either this is older than it looks or something's wrong" he muttered clicking on the shady messenger app
Nothing seemed realy out of place at first glance, the tree seemed to have a few more cuts then before but it may just have been the lighting giving this effect.
"I don't see Flatline," I said and then walk over to the pond. I look for some stones or pebbles to do some stone-skipping with. "Hey, did you ever do any normal human things for fun?"

That freezer was filled with pieces of raw meat, a substence was still dripping from them despite the pieces being in there for long enough for normal blood to freeze. You noticed a few deep claw marks onto the steel insides of the appliance, whoever had done those had cut through the hard metal.

Uppon selecting it the tablet froze if a moment and the screen went blank, a message pop in the middle of the screen.
The screen stayed this way for longer then it should be necessary before finaly giving a somwhat promissing result when the app finaly open with a generic greating sound after apparently restoring and pulling out a file from the very dept of the machine.

Between the roots of the tree you could see some rocks but most of them were in the shallow water near it.

I look through the rocks in the shallow water and collect any of the smooth flat ones. I throw one across the pond's surface and watch it go. "Do you wanna try some stone-skipping?"

I hope I never get on the bad side whoever made those claw marks. I close the door and open the next one, because I'm not particularly interested in whatever that raw meat is. It's probably for the Numbers, anyways.
