Amsden of the Sapling ~ King ~ 65 ~ Currently in: RG
He looked a bit amuzed at the young man. Puffing his chest, just lick a rooster before the hens, showing of its gorgeus feathers. Yet he seemed to lack the pride of a rooster and act more like a dog, quick to spring to his feet as he had told him he could get closer. The young man infront of him is ... amuzing. Atleast that is the closest thing he could think of to describe him with. "The letter.." he noted calmly, he still had not gotten it yet so he kinda needed to get it if he were to read it. As he held out his hand it shaked a single second as it came out from the warm safety of the cloak. This blasted body of his, if only he was younger, stronger and not as... harmed. Scarred and weak ... thats what he have become even if he wants to deny it, in the end its just impossible. Even for him, the once mighty and strong king time passes. And just like any many slowly detoriets as time passes, so does he. He have started to notice it the past couple of years. Specially during the coold winter months his body will ache and stiffen, forcing the once proud warrior into a state of agony and pain. How bad will it not be this winter if his body is aching even now at the autumn? Honestly, he does not want to know. All he wishes for right now is summer so that his pain wil lease in the warm sun once more. As the prince feelt his father stiffen a bit he woke up once more, this time rubbing his eyes while yawning. "Are you done dad?" the young boy asked looking up at him. "Sorry, not yet" the king answered while smiling at his son.

She listend closely to the girl. She do talk a lot thats for sure. As she talked for what feelt like the milliontht time she stopped in her movement. Betrayed her family name? Well thats kinda intresting honestly. But she dont really have a need to know more about that. "Would you mind pointing out where on this map we are?" she asked putting the map down on the counter she was standing next to. The hazzelcoloured bright eyes glanced at some of the baked goods. Wow they smell amazing to be honest. Humming a bit she leaned against one of the buns, eying it carefully. Well she wull surley walk out with atleast one of those later. As she had walked up to the desk her splitted skirt had seperated a bit showing the pants and boots under it.

Annabelle comes over and looks at the map. Her eyes widen and she looks at Agrona "Um you know this map is way out of day right?" Annabelle asks. She goes into the back and pulls out a new map. She lays it out on the counter "Where are you headed any way?" Annabelle asks. "I might be able to take you there if you want me to." Annabelle goes into the back. and grabs her saddle and bridle for her horse. Annabelle hurries outside and saddles up her horse then comes back inside.

Zarune~ 29 years old~RG

The man eyes the boy before handing over the letter. He watched the boy in wonder. Clearly the king was old enough to be the boys grandpa but he acted like his father. Could he be? But why have a child at such an age? Better late than never. Zarune sighed. He had always wanted kids, but the church would not allow it. It got in the way of work they say, it will ruin you purity. Screw them. Every man needed to pass down his blood line, and with no kids there was no genes being passed on. Maybe he would find one on his travels, a nice kind, short woman that would travel with him. She needed to have a sense of adventure! Be willing to live on the edge yet still love him in such a way that the romance stayed alive. But that was not why he was here, he had a mission and it was more important.

Once he got the letter in his hand he read it patiently while his son stretched his back to see what was written on it. The young boy silently read one letter at the time, slowly forming the words one by one. "Well it is fine by me for you to build a temple of Finn here. It is one of few temples we do not house here in Royal Guarden. However Im not sure about wich locations we have available to be honest" he said letting his son slowly spell out the letter for himself. The old and tired king put the arm back under the massive, thick cloak that was protecting both him and his son from any draft that could sneak in through the cracks in the walls. He looked at the young man a while. "Tell me your magic lvl and temple rank" he demanded the man. Why would they send such a young man to run a temple? Or is it simply to set it up and a elder will come later? Yes, that seems a lot more resonable. So probably they want him to make the anoying parts, finding a good plot of land, hiering a great architect, finding founds ... those sly ******s! They want him to pay most of the god damed building! Thats why they did this. A small shuckle left his lips and the small boy looked up curiously. "What is it dad?" he asked with wide eyes. "Nothing, just a old mans thoughts" he assured the child that nodded, deciding to trust his father.

Honestly this ... woman ... if you can call her that made her nothing but surpriced. Not really waiting for a answer, not considering anything she drops and leaves behind. Not only had she been told the map she had was out of date, but the shopkeeper had also pulled out a new one, asking where she was heading. The moment she were about to answer this ... uniq woman she heard her offer to take her there. This was a lot more than she wanted. She simply just wanted to get directions and maby a few things to eat. Quick on her feets to follow the woman she rushed after, the split skirt seperating, showing her boots and pants. "mrs, I am sincearly thankfull for your offer but do you not have a shop to run? And I could clearly smell fire inside so you have a fire burning inside to bake your goods. How much have you thought this through? Not only do you risk loosing customers by following me, but you may also lose the house due to a fire" she pointed out. Her own horse walked up to her, the golden fur shining brightly in the sun this shilly autumnday. A bit puzzzled by the bizzar behaviour of the woman she looked at her things. Aha, there on the saddle! A mark from the clan of the Silver Griffin. So that was the family she had been cut out of? Well not that its any of her buisness but this was almost comicly. A woman from such a noble family and she cant think two steps ahead? She cant realize the results of her actions? This woman ... no, this child will not live loong unless she starts planning ahead and realizing what she is indeed doing.

"Business is never good but I guess I could give you the map if you really need to get going. Let me get you some bread then you can go." Annabelle said. Annabelle got the bread and gave it to the lady before her. "I hope Tempus is good to you on your journey." Annabelle said and bowed. Annabelle put out the fire and went out and got onto her horse and rode to her house which was a ways out of Dragon Cave. Annabelle got off and unsaddled her horse. She took her horse to its pasture. Annabelle smiles glad she helped someone.

Zarune~ 29 years old~ RG

"My magic level is currentlyat what is considered five though I plan on training up to level six. As for church rank its intermediate." The man said watching the child. Would it be rude to ask? Better late than never.... "That's a strong boy you have there." The priest commented before he knew what he had said. Dang it...now he had messed up. Was it too late to turn and run? If the guards got after him he could out run them, hopefully. What a way to make an impression...just great. Still the man stood his ground trying not to let fear take hold of him. It was best to leave it there.

He looked thoughtfully at the young priest infront of him. Such a high lvl at such a young age. That is quiet impressive to be honest. His son were about to say something when he heard the remark of the priest. His darkblue eyes shifted to black and got the determination they had once carried to the battlefield. How many had not seen this stare as the last thing before the kig had slayed them on the battlefield? More than he can count, more than he bothers to try to remember. The young boy stared at his father, paling a bit as he sensed his malice and tension. This was a part of his father the boy had never seen before. And it seemed to be something he didnt want to see again, yet the boy could not stop looking at his father that suddendly seemed to be a other person compleatly. "And just WHAT do you mean by that?" the king answered in a chilly voice reminesent of ice. His glare filled with despise and hatred. Was the ****** implying something?! How dares he?! He is the king, protected by Bel and trained in his temple for gods sake! One wrong word and he will slay the damed boy here and now!

*No wonder the buisness is not good, you are never here it seems.* she thought while listening to the ... hyperactive ... yes that word fits. Hyperactive woman. Once more before she had time to answer at all the woman had disapeard. A bit dumbfounded she stood there holding bread and the new map in her arms. "I guess .... thanks" she said to her self as the woman had disapeard. After shaking her head she put down the food in the saddlebags before walking up to one of the villagers. After getting pointed out where she was she sat up on the chestnut horse with easy, used movements. On loong Reins she horse walked forward calmly, its ears moving to every sound that was heard. Once out of sight from the village she sighed pulling a hand through her short lightbrown hair. "Come on boy, lets get goign or we will never get there" she said as she shortend the reins. The gelding raised its head before getting a neat hug from the riders knees wich made him fall into trott. Rising and sitting down every other stepp she trotted with the horse under her. The rythmic two paced gait was barley heard on the soft forest path. Just giving up dull sounds hearable for those closest to them and noone else.
(Did your character become like you wanted Hawk? I changed the template to fit the right kind so had to rearange a bit. Want to know if i should change anything.)

Annabelle hurried outside and forgot that she needed to make a trip to the castle.... because her father had called her up..... definitely NOT a good sign. She saddled up her horse and got on. Annabelle kicked her foot on the horse's side and they set off at a swift gallop towards the castle. Then she had to turn around to get her bow and arrow. Annabelle hurried inside and put on her bow and quiver. She placed the arrows inside the quiver. Annabelle jumped on her horse and they set off again at a swift gallop towards the castle. Annabelle loved the feeling of wind blowing through her hair and the steady rhythm of a horse's gallop.

(Yes, that works for me)

Zarune~29 years old~RG

The state set a shiver up his spine enough to make him cowar a bit and back away. "Pardon me my lord, it seems that you misunderstood. I was simply saying that such a strong boy is bound to make his father very proud. It's a honor to have a child as strong and harty as him. It was said only as a compliment no harm was ment by it." The man said trying to regain his composure. Now was the time to get ready to run, that's all he could do. If the king was to attack then his movement were sure to be slow, but his guard's wouldn't be. That gave only a bit of time to escape before something wrong happened. God he should have learned to watch his mouth, what that would have saved him!

Arcadius~26 years old~ on his way to DC

She hadn't showed up yet, the others were getting worried about it. So what was the only thing they could think to do? Send the servant. Of course they did, it wasn't like they had anything else they wanted him to do at the moment. Being a servant sucked. That was his life though and he could not say anything about it. So here he was riding along the road on his gelding, racing towards Dragoncave. Why did he have to do this again? Not even he knew. Camel protested as the man made him jump a fallen tree, the sooner they got there the better.

He glared at the priest, his eyes dark and coold. He glared at the man, ignoring the curious looks from his son. in his mind he went through a few diffrent ideas about how to rip the young man in pieces. A moment he thought about maby tying him up side down and sawing him in half. A second later the thought of boiling the poor priest alive apeared in his mind. And so it went on for a while, one idea pushing away the preious one. But as the man explained himself he slowly nodded. "Werry well" he said as he nodded once more. "dad?" he heard his son ask. He looked down at the boy and smiled a bit. "You go and play with some of the kids, I have a bit to discuss with ouer guest." he explained for the boy. After a nod the young prince climbed down from his fathers lap and bowed politely to the priest before rushing away. As the boy left the room and the doors closed behind him. "You are testing my patient" he warned the priest in a coold voice. He clearly couldnt care any less about the devine protection that the young man was standing under. Heck if he wanted to, he would wage war on the entire collection of gods. All 12.

It took her quiet some time but eventually she got to the massive cliff. She stared up at it in silence a moment before getting of the horse. With a pained face she rubbed her butt as the loong ride made her stiff and aching in the entire body. While looking up at the dragon she feelt a chill run up her spine. While shaking it off she took out most of the bread she had been given and put it down before the massive stonedragon. "I wish you well Orfion" she said as she let go of the food, giving it as a offering to the dragoncloaked god. After the small prayer she removed the reins and saddle from the gelding she was riding. Once a halter was on she tied it to a tree so the animal could grass. The massive bundle of thin rope was picked up and tied between diffrent trees. Once done she glanced up at th dragon once more before starting to collect the herbs one after the other. As soon as one was picked she cleaned it properly and hanged it on the thin rope using some string. It takes time but it guarantees the best quality possible when it comes to potions, poisons and so on.
