Emont

Emont looked around his room and grabbed his cloak. He ran out his room down to the stables where his horse was. Emont got his horse saddled up and he set off to the town. He stopped at his shop to look inside for something. Emont grabbed his ration bag and placed some bread into it. Emont then set off to the forest to go to one of the other places hoping to talk to the king if he could. But the king would probably be busy and Emont was determined to talk to him. Emont then stopped a ways into the forest to set up camp for he knew it would take days or months to get to the castle.

Molly~ 25 years old~ RG

"Cullyn!" The woman scolded looking at the boy a bit crossly as she threw herself up onto the horse. "That is no way to talk to your teacher. It's rude." But the priest waved the comment away as she said this. Who did he think he was? He waved HER away? Did he want her to break his nose again? (Sorry it's short...)

Zarune~ 29 years old~ RG

"That back there with the ram, was that when you started to feel sleepy? Drained even?" The priest asked serious for what seem to be the first time in a long time. The boy had no doubt used a bit of magic but for it to drain him as it did then it must have been a simple spell that was too strong for him to handle. He was lucky that it hadn't stopped his heart when he did it. Zarune was a very talented man both in his way with scrolls and his use of an element that had not came naturally to him but for the boy to be able to do that, now that was talent. What had the other scholars taught him after all? Normally it would take one at lest half their life to learn that, but the boy did it just out of instinct. Some further research would be needed to answer that.

Arcadius~ 26 years old~ DC

Takeing the cup he quickly drained the liquid from it. Nasty stuff it was but it was for the better good. "Agrona..." He said suddenly looking into the bottom of the cup. "I know not if this is the sickness speaking or if it is actually me but you know after that all that has happened in my life you are the only one that I can actually relate to. If I knew not I would say that I even wanted to spend the rest of my days with you." He drew silent for a moment bracing for the knife that was sure to be coming his way. Maybe she would find it a funny joke and just brush it off?

Cullyn of the Sapling ~~ Crown Prince ~~ 5 ~~ Currently in RG
As Molly scolded him he looked up with tired eyes. Why did she scold him now?! He didnt do anything wrong. He were not rude at all, just ... honest. If the priests could call him unteachable and a nuicianse then he can surley say that reading the same texts over and over and over and over again! Atleast he can state that without getting scolded, right? He glared at Molly with his brightblue eyes but said nothing. once he heard Zarune talk again he looked at his teacher with tired eyes before yawning. "yes, thats it" he said with a exausted tone before snoosing a bit and falling asleep. Sleep, just a bit of sleep and he would be fine. As his eyes went closed he dosed of and were quickly deep asleep, his grip of Molly losen before the arms fell down to his sides. The young crownprince gave up a soft sound before going silent as he just sleept in her arms. It was not a dreamfull sleep, infact ther was nothing. All around him was nothing but empty darkness that hold him in a warm, gentle grip as the young prince sleept to regain his strength.

Agrona of the Raven ~~ Poisonmaker master ~~ 22 ~~ currently in: DC
She listend to him a moment before smiling a bit. "I will pretend its the herbs, so go to sleep Arcadius." she sid before looking at him. After that she looked at the fire with what could only be described as lonely, or maby sad. It sounded really nice what he said. It actually sounds amazing. But he said he wanted a child right? That ... she probably cant do. With a sigh she closed her eyes as her shoulders slowly dropped before she looked up at the fire again. So, what should she do now? Just keep on living as always? Well its the most likely thing for her to do anyway.

Emont

Emont laid down in the grass and looked at the sky only to hear a low growl behind him. Emont shot to his feet and fumbled to grab his dagger. A female wolf stalked out of the shadows. Emont sent his horse back to the castle to get help. More wolves followed after the female wolf. Emont whistles loudly.

"Great now I am cornered!" Emont said. "I hope my horse finds someone to help me."

Emont's Horse ~~ Male~~ Called Lightning

Lightning ran to the castle at full speed. Then he stopped and neighed. How can I get help for my master? My master is in danger! Wait! The hunter! The hunter! Lightning searched for the hunter so that maybe the hunter would remember him. He ran through the streets looking and looking. Searching and Searching only his determination to save his master kept him going. Lightning was weaker now from all the running. How could he possible find the hunter and save his master?

Molly~ 25 years old~ RG

The whole way back to the castle the two didn't speak. The only sounds where that the world made and the horse's footsteps mixed with the steady soft breathing of the prince as he slept. It was only when they reached the stables did either of them speak again. Molly was the first, speaking mainly to the stable hand. "Please make sure that Hoarce is well fed and brushed my good man." She said flipping him a single gold coin from her coin pouch at her side. The man seemed dumbfounded at this as he caught the coin in the air. The women merely smiled and slid from the horse before pulling the prince from him. Molly cradled the boy in her arms as he slept on, his head resting over her shoulder. "As for you, Zarune I will see you to the castle and to your room before we part ways." The shield maiden turned to help him from the horse to find he had almost done so himself. Odd, he had been so afraid before. Their gaze met for a moment as he stepped from the saddle to the ground below. It was quiet a step seeing that the horse was so tall. Being the first to break the gaze, Molly turned away from him. Again she had no words to say to the man, though the blush on her cheeks was enough to speak for themselves. She took a stride forward only to be stopped by the man walking past her with a cheeky smile on his face as he did. As much as she hated to admit it, he was quiet handsome. Though his hair could stand to be a darker shade of brown, his eyes were a pleasant hazel color. His face was a bit thick for her likings but his smile still managed to melt her heart. Above all he was a priest, trained in the art of magic, not a warrior like herself. Well beggars can't be choosers can they? Again silence filled their trip as they walked back to the castle, the prince still in Molly's arms. This time it was only when they drew near to Zarune's chambers did they speak again. "Well here you are then. Guess this is were we part ways then. Good evening Zarune." The woman said in a pleasant tone before standing a bit on her tiptoes and leaning towards him. It wasn't much but the kiss on the cheek was enough to at least make his ears turn red and his face light up like the night when the sun first starts to show its face. With a kind smile she turned away taking the prince to his room. Gently tucking him into his bed sure to get his stuffed puppy in the blanket with him, Molly yawned before sitting in a chair next to his bed. Before long she too was asleep her mind full of dreams about the day's events.

Zarune~ 29 years old~ RG

She had kissed him, she had really kissed him! His heart fluttered at the feeling that was still tingling on his cheek. It was like nothing he had ever felt before. Was it just complementary for her to do that, or had she meant it? Zarune cared not the answer. The night was still young in his eyes this he made his way to the library where he picked out a rather large book of riddles. He may have been a scholar but even he still found joy in a good riddle. The priest snapped his fingers summoning a small ball of light that danced about his shoulders as he walked back to his room. It was a pleasant night out, cold enough that he could see his own breath. Perhaps reading in the courtyard would be alright. The light illuminated the way as he made his way down the hall, book in hand. The be tch he chose was under what could only be a young fruit tree though the type was a mystery to the man. The small off of light played among the bare brantched of the tree, sending shadows across the man as he read and tried to answer the riddles the book held. The light stopped for a moment seemingly due to the fact that there was another soul there with the man. Zarune glanced up to find a rather large, burly cat sitting at his feet. The animal was black and white in color, more black than white it seemed though its bright green eyes seemed to stand out the most. Half of the things right ear was missing, torn clean off by the looks of it. The man watched it as it sat there looking at him as if he had done wrong to it. A smile split his face when the sounds of a deep purr made its way to his ears. "Good marrow my fair sir." Zarune said setting the book aside. The cat followed his every move as he did. The cat was weery of him, the man could say that this he made no attempt to touch it. "And how does this eve fare for you?" No response came to the man though the cat did raise a paw to clean itself. "You seem like a man that likes a good fight, either of brawl or of wit. Perhaps a riddle would please you?" With that he pulled the book back out and read aloud a few riddled though the cat seemed not to care at all. Soon though the tom left, leaving the man to himself. "I do wish that he would have stayed and chatted a while longer, I could really use a bit of company." Zarune stood then and walked back to his room keeping the book with him for the night. Giddily he stepped into his room and flopped down on the soft bed. Maybe this was the chance he had been waiting for, a chance to make his mark on the world. Molly and a cat both showing him interest! It was something he had never had happen before. Maybe now he could finally be noticed. He lay there but a few moments before soft snores filled the room as he fell into a car filled dream with many riddles that he couldn't recall the answers to.

Arcadius~ 26 years old~ DC

The answer she gave was pleasing, with no signs of hostility towards him in having said it. Yet he said nothing more on the situation other than a simple yawn before his eyes closed for a restless nights sleep. No dreams came as he slept though he found still the pain from the fever and the chill in his bones. He tossed some during his slumber, pushing himself farther from the fire than he would have liked to have been. More than once he woke in a sweat, chills rattling his body before finally it subsided and let him rest in peace. The next time he woke it was for good, curling up next to the fire with the cloak around him as he gazed into the flames yet again. He waited for dawn to rise, so that they may finally get out of this cursed place.

Cullyn of the Sapling ~~ Crown Prince ~~ 5 ~~ Currently in RG
it took a few houers before he woke up. But as he did he looked around with almost drunken eyes. What happend? And ... how did he get to his room? After looking into the almost compleatly dark room a moment before he could make out everything in it. Despite the boy beeing only five years old he already had a massive 2person bed, filled with fresh straw , his cover and pillow beeing a massive fortune of featherfilling. Standing about two meters from te floor was the "crown" of the bed with curtains on the rails and neatly tied to the wooden beam at the headend of the bed. If he ever wanted to he could simply pull the expensive silk curtains to make a small fort to play in. Under the incredible bed was a expensive carpet with a intricate pattern. To his right in a oakchair with delicate detailing and soft padding was Molly. he smiled a bit before looking around his room. The fireplace was slowly dying out into nothing. With a soft and agile movement he got up on his small feet before putting the blanket over Molly and walking up to the fireplace. After looking at the red, orange, yellow and almost golden embers that was sparkling like small suns in the slowly dominating darkness in the room. The paintings and tapestry on his walls wasnt visable from the fireplace in his bedroom, neither was the nightdesks that stood one each side of his bed. After a while of looking into the darkness he turned the brightblue eyes to the slowly dying embers before putting some firewood on it, letting the fire slowly starting to burn once more. As the embers started to become small flames on the logs, dancing in the fireplace the shadows came to life in his room.

After closing the door to his bedroom he looked around his own little living room. As the crownprince and heir to the throne his chamber is a small amunt of rooms combined togeather, giving him the same livingspace as a rather massive farmers family would have. Despite the dim light that the embers in the fireplace infront of a two seat sofa, a few armchairs in dark oak and a well padded cushin in them all with feathers. between the couchgroup and the fireplace was a darkoak wooden table with carvings filled with thin, thin gold. On top of it a fine tablecloth and a few books the prince had left laying open. The walls were sparsly decorated with only a tapestry and the entire floor hidden under a imaculate carpet. On the right wall next to the tapestry was a door to a bathroom there he took his, well baths. And on the left wall was a door to his privet study/work room that was filled with books, scrolls and maps. As well as that there is alsoe a desk and two wellmade chairs, one for him and one for his teacher. But neither the livingroom, study or bathroom was his aim for now. Quietly he took a lantern from ontop of the fireplace, lightning the candle in it with the ember that died not loong after. With the lantern in his right hand he walked through the corridors with a roaring stomach. About halfway to the kitchen he stoped in the middle of the corridor, glancing backwards. Had he heard footsteps? No ... it must be his imagination, but just to make sure the young prince grabbed his dagger. Or tableknife as adults would call it.

But once he turned a courner and could see a shadow raise against the stonewalls he quickly blew out the candle before letting the lantern fall to the floor, giving of a sharp sound in the otherwise still night while his feet took him away from the kitchen. Something inside of him told him to run, run as quickly as he could. "I hear footsteps this way" a voice was heard and soon the young prince heard foots not far from him. He wanted to scream but his throat was dry and his mouth refused to open. It took quiet some time but once the young prince have rushed out on the courtyard he fell, feeling the frosty ground scratch both his hands and face. Just as he turned around to see two massive shadows stretch their arms towards him his eyes teared up as he finally managed to atleast open his mouth. However before the arms could reach him a blur of bright light apeared infront of him, making the shadows back away. Between him and the shadows were a boy about ten years older than him, in his right hand a torch and the other a sword. This was a lord form a branchfamily to the griffin clan, here to train not only in war tacticts but alsoe how to act at the court and how to behave as a lord. With a speed he so far had only seen by Molly the older boy parried a sword with his own before striking with the torch before he had to back away from the other shadow, still staying between the prince and the shadows. "MURDERERS!" the lord screamed as high as he possibly could before qickly attacking the shadows once more s the castle came to life from the screaming. Well atleast the closest area woke up by it.

She glanced at him every now and then as he tossed around in his sleep. "Good morning Arcadius, you still have a bit of time to sleep thought so I sugest you atleast rest" she said looking at him. Honestly she could werry well sleep a houer or two her self. But he wasthe sick one, not her. So it was just to shut up and work through the tiredness. With a soft movement she rubbed her eyes while yawning. But she didnt open them again, instead she fell asleep while sitting. After some time she fell to the side, first hitting his shoulder before slowly gliding down so she ended up sleeping with her head in his lap. All throughout this she was wast asleep, not knowing that she was sleeping with her head on his lap. If she had been awake she would most likely had changed to a sitting position quuickl, exusing herself with something like "Sorry, I guess im still a bit weak from the bloodloss". But right now she was sleeping, heavly havign stayed up most of the night with nothing more than the dress and fire as means of keeping warm. She had given her cloak to him since he was sick. However this alsoe made herself cold and slightly shivering in the early morning that was still ruled by the moon and its many sparkling diamonds surounding it in the ravenlike sky.

He walked around the castle and the labyrinth of buildings it created. However once he turned a courner he stopped dead in his tracks. A horse?! What the hell did it do here? And ... it ... it have the lords marking on its saddle. "Here boy, come here" he tried while looking at the animal.

Emont

How was this going to end? With him in shreds? What would his father think? Oh well nothing but his horse coming back with help could save him now that there were eight wolves growling at him. Emont laughed weakly and his dagger was held tightly in his hand. The female wolf snapped at Emont. He panicked in fear of being bitten. Emont jabbed his dagger at the wolf's snout and then he stopped. How could he hurt a female? Even if he was going to be eaten he could not forget his manners. Why couldn't he just let his instincts take control? Emont shook his head.

"I know this is the end." Emont said. "I hope this is quick........... I just....." Emont then ran as fast as he could hoping that he could somehow find a place to escape.

Emont's Horse

The horse turned around and reared up in happiness. His master was going to be saved by this brave hunter. "My master! The wolves!" Lightning tried to tell the hunter but all that he would hear was neigh neigh neigh. Lightning stomped his hooves on the ground. He bowed his head. Lightning hoped the hunter would understand the danger that his master was in. But how could he tell him? Lightning neighed and he looked around. He then gave up how could he get this hunter to his master. Lightning then gave up and laid down.

Molly~ 25 years old~ RG

Even in her deep slee she could hear the boy's yell. The woman nearly jumped out of her skin as she threw herself from the chair knocking it over with her as she tripped on the blanket that had been covering her up at the time. "Cullyn!" She yelled struggling to get up on her feet. Why was it so dark?! The helm she had been wearing fell from her head as she rushed out the door. "Cullyn, hang on!" As she ran she pulled the sword from her side with such speed that it seemed as though he had hardly moved. She rushed into the courtyard nearly sliving the attcking boy's head clean off. She stopped herself when she heard his screams. What? It was merely a child, threatening the prince. "What do you think you're doing?!" The woman yelled eyes ablaze. "The the hell away from him before I cut you limb from limb and feed you to the hogs!" She threatened holding the sword to the boy's chest.

Arcadius~ 26 years old~ DC

At first he was surprised then he simply excepted it. Lightly he stroked her hair before covering her with the cloak. She was so peaceful, so elegant. Arcadius smiled down at her tempted to wake her before she got mad. Naw, she needed a few hours of sleep, after all she had helped him and now it was his turn to repay her.

Cullyn of the Sapling ~~ Crown Prince ~~ 5 ~~ Currently in RG
The young lord had taken a step to the side to avoid an attack just to see a massive creature jump straight into the battle. In the light of his torche he could see the massive mane of Mollys. She tookcare of one of the attackers however the young lord still had the really massive one as a oponent. "I dont think ..." he parried the attackers weapon with his sword before pushing himself forward by jumping towards the man that stumbled backwards. The young lordpanted a bit. He had been woken by one of the officers before the sun got up last morning, had a massive drill the entire day and then a guardshift ontop of the castlewalls. So he is exausted and not in the shape for battle. "They care about dying or not" he added while panting. As the man he was fighting attacked again he parried but with the torch, having the sword cut trhough it, cutting the 15year old lord stagger backwards as he was cut in his left shoulder. With this he dropped the torche, gasping for air. Crap that hurt a lot more than he had ever imagined. He took the horrible decision of glancing back at Cullyn that was pale in his face and tears running down his cheek. Asfter seeing the prince in such a misserble state he just barley avoided getting his head cut in half. with the sword in his right hand he made the man back just as guards arrived on the scene, surounding the two introuders. With a deeep sigh the lord fell down onto the ground just panting.

Agrona of the Raven ~~ Poisonmaker master ~~ 22 ~~ currently in: DC
Her breathing was calm, deep and almost unnotisiable so relaxed she was. This was the first night in weeks upon weeks that she could sleep deeply despite spending the night on the road. Arcadius is a trusted servant of the clan for a reason, so with him she is safe enough to relax and just sleep. Althought the sleep was dreamless it could not be any better sleep. It was all she wanted, all she needed. Just a deep, deep slumber there she could regain the power and energy she had lost over the last couple of months on the road. A moment she tensed up before quickly relaxing again. She had woken up, but somehow she didnt want to just yet. Maby she could rest just a bit more, just a bit of more time to rest and replenish her energy. SHe could feel the warmth from his lap and the fingers stroking her hair. To be honest, she really did like this. It was rather comfterble and soothing, as well as tender. if she could choose, this is probably what she would wake up to every day. A soft and kind warmth soul that tended to her as she tended to it.

He quickly backed as the horse stood on its hindlegs. "Are you okej buddy? Where is the lord?" he asked slowly aproaching the animal with a catious look on his face. He is a simple hunter, he have never handled a horse, only leading the way on hunts. As the animal layed down on the ground he took a few worried steps to the animal, standing next to it.

Lightning looked at the hunter and then got up and tried to lead the way. He hoped his master was okay. Lighting set off towards the forest. He kept at a slow pace hoping the hunter could follow.
