While it was small it felt heavy and didn't look damaged at all.

He wished he had cloth to cover it but he gently shoved it into his pocket.

As you do so you notice that it had a slight orange teint to it once out of the water, there was nothing you could see that could have reflected on it to give it that coloration around however.

The lonely tree next to the pond didn't seem to be use by anyone or anything, tho it was alwais a possibility that somthing was up there.

He jumps

The tree was relatively easy to climb up due to the various claw mark that were litering it, you notice a slinght variation in their size, dept and shape depending of witch number had left them in the trunk of the tree.
