It seems the group has unanimously decided to run. The quick thinking of Sai and Florian enabled them to flee the room before confronting any guards. Luckily, the exit signs are clearly labelled, and the group swiftly escapes the building. The streets outside are empty. The building is still on high alert, and there is no sign of Ace outside.

What do you want to do?

Lip squints. "Which way do we go? Preferably away from here."

"Ey, Ace. Where ya at?" Sai can't shake the feeling that it had been too easy... Eh, oh well. "We can split up. Head home. Call it a night. It's not like anyone's watching us." He shrugs. He really didn't care. Mission successful. Or not. Whether or not they met their goal, Sai met his of not-quite-dying so he's satisfied.

"If we all head home, who's gonna take the artifact? And I thought we were getting paid to do this... I don't think we can receive money if the money-givers can't find us. Also... " Lilith pauses, scanning the building. "Aren't there cameras here? Five people running around in the dark with a glowing... thing... is sure to get us spotted. Although that might not be a bad thing; I haven't gotten to stab anyone yet, and I'm bored."

(ok i'm alive. barely hehe. Orca, don't worry about taking breaks, my update schedule isn't much of a schedule and depends on the whim of the gods and the weather on mondays. anyhow.)

Ace's voice sounds in your ears.

Great! You're almost done. Get to the park. It's a few blocks down. My associate will show you the way!

At her words, the orbs begin to glow, and the ethereal figure emerges.

What will you do?

"Pop goes the weasel." Sai mumbles in a sing-song voice as he eyes the ethereal figure. He looks towards the others before looking back towards the artifact and hoping the ethereal being wouldn't smite them all. Sai smiles when he thinks about the ethereal figure being a genie and the artifact was it's lamp.
He offers a bow to the supposed god and introduces the situation. "Thank you for gracing us with your presence. We mean you no harm, so if you would be so kind as to not cast us into eternal damnation or something."
He waits for someone else to put their neck on the line and explain what they're doing with the artifact.

Florian is silent for a second, gawking at the spirit. Then he realizes Sai wants someone else to explain.
"Uh. Hi. I'm Florian." He bows to it awkwardly, flipping a lock of his black hair out of his face. "Please do not smite us, o great spirit.... or whatever you want to be called. So. Um. We just saved you from being auctioned. I think. Yeah."

"Great. Lets go." Lio starts walking towards the park. Or tries. "Ub, which way is it? I dont get out much."
