I think it should be said that anyone using a VPN would have an "unknown" ip address every single time. Plus, those who don't use a VPN could still see their ip address change unexpectedly for various reasons. And cookies aren't perfectly reliable, either. So expect to see that email every so often even if everything else is perfectly fine and normal. That's the price of increased security measures.
