I think the changes you have made are great Krin and definitely necessary. I thought I was going to make myself several max stat pets using boosted themes from the next fests, easy peasy haha obviously not a good thing. If things had stayed that way, the market for high stat pets would have been destroyed and people who did not use the boost were at a severe disadvantage, with their pets being pushed behind all the boosted pets.

And I think the 5000 cost of the boost is reasonable. It should be something people have to save for and use sparingly, otherwise, again, you run into the issue of too many pets gaining this advantage and the newly discovered problems associated with that.

Just to clarify on the new 'Every 6 Nurtures on Egglings Adds +1 Maturity-Every 8 Nurtures on Hatchlings Adds +1 Stat Boost-Every 4 Nurtures on Hatchlings Adds +1 Maturity' This only applies to boosted pets correct? or all pets?

While I realize you are trying to balance it out, Krin.... 5000 scales is far, far too expensive. I wasn't using Scales for boost before, and I sure won't use it now!

The Diamond price is good and reasonable, but I think that you'll find very few people using Scales to boost pets.

Cheers!

I have to agree with C4, I bought some dias to have more on hand to boost cause 5k scales is 5 lesser dyes for me and i have super rikkis that need to be dyed. Which is fine xD im ok with higher scale side but i wont be using it again xD I will be using dias which works out well for the site cause i buy dias with rl with money xD xD

Krin, is there a way to cancel the Nurture Boost? I only have one being boosted, but I only wanted it to hatch sooner.

I don't know about everyone else but I can only nurture about 350 - 375 in 10 minutes. I will not be using the boost with the cost at 5000 scales. I earn scales to purchase lesser pet dyes.

Hey everyone is entitled to their opinions, no one is right or wrong here. However since here is a case of "the squeaky wheel gets the grease", I think many of the people in the woodwork who liked it didn't come out and say it. Similar to how many people won't leave a review on something they like, only when they are unhappy - so now I'm kinda regretting that I didn't come out first thing and say, Oh I love it! But here we are, and I'm sure there are many others who felt the same. I mean just look at how many people actually used the nurture boost itself for an indication. TBH I didn't use the nurture feature much before this, and I'm not gonna lie, I really appreciate the double scales, so the more boosted pets the better I say, better to make it as accessable as possible! Well, there's my 2 cents along with the "Aye" vote on Geraptiku's post while the issue is still relevant lol

The issue wasn't really the feature itself - I think most of us would agree it's great. The issue was the impact it would've had on the stats market if left unchecked. If you can get +20-30 stat points on one pet (as many of us did, before these changes), that means you can get max stats in just a few generations. That would completely invalidate all the hard work people have done in the years up to now, buying prismas and being very patient to get the best results. Prices would plummet and the market would just implode.

And there's still lots of time for Krin to make adjustments. The new prices are not yet set in stone. It's gonna need some time before we can tell exactly how it should work for the best results.
