True, I just didn't really tend to go with the options, I just put all the 'cool' in one window (in different tabs) and then control tabbed through with my mouse over 'warm'.

So, for me at least, it doesn't really matter what those options are, or where they are placed, as long as I keep my mouse over the same button, I can do it quickly.

Hopefully, the last Site Announcement regarding this issue. I do apologize for the barrage on this topic, but it is a very important issue that had to be quickly resolved.

Here are the final changes that are now active moving forward:

-Every 6 Nurtures on Egglings Adds +1 Maturity

-Every 8 Nurtures on Hatchlings Adds +1 Stat Boost (same algorithm as before)

-Every 4 Nurtures on Hatchlings Adds +1 Maturity

-Cost of Nurture Boost increases to 60 Diamonds or 5,000 Scales
*Price Change Goes into effect at Midnight*

Any pets that benefited from the previous system will remain untouched. I do not think that there would be a fair or reasonable way to nerf those Pets. We can all just consider them freaks of nature - or perhaps freaks of 'nurture'.

As has been discussed prior, I will continue closely monitoring Nurturing, the Nurturing Grounds, and Nurture Boosting for the foreseeable future until I'm completely satisfied with the results. So it's very likely that some more changes could come about in the near future.

Thank you again for the feedback and I hope that this can be seen as a fair compromise on the issue.

I love this, soooo happy

I Agree that 5,000 is high. Could a compromise come into play say the middle of 5,000

I realize I'm late to the discussion, but I feel it's worth pointing out that the cousin of my high-statted boy you linked, hatched at the same time in the same batch, got fewer than 40 nurtures during the same high-traffic time frame (new feature + event). I really do not feel that changing the baseline is fair to the non-boosted players. It's hard enough to get nurtures as it is.

The new price does seem really high, but I'd estimate it takes me 15-20 min to get 500 nurtures, maybe half an hour if I keep mixing up race and read, and always mis-clicking cool/warm. XD; About 5 hours to afford a nurture boost doesn't sound too bad. But it's likely the current nurture data is so high mainly because of the fest task log requirements, which are 5 times the usual amount, and people won't be nurturing as much outside of a fest. I'm not sure 5 hours worth of work will be worth the boosts when there isn't a fest or as many people nurturing. o:

Well while im sad about this xD The boost was too mighty. I was gathering info still but i had a really good example of how it was too mighty in a pair of siblings

^ precious boy, 2 generations away from 200 mana max, got pokes via nurture thread and gained about 100 hp from that

Younger brother, got the boost on cause i thought it would help get his hp to max, not only did it get hp to max but a gain of 40 mana as well. so he gained 300 hp and 40 mana and STILL isnt a teenager

I was just saying last night that if this was the intended feature i wouldnt have to buy prismas or mana philters anymore xD the unfortunate effect though would be that no one would buy max stats when they can get them with a few scales themselves
