Hello, everyone! Just decided to join this on a whim (on my birthday, too) - don't know anything about this or how it really works, but I am finding it interesting (albeit daunting) so far. The only other pet sim I regularly play is Flight Rising, where I go by the same name.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi! I hope to get accustomed to everything and stick around. I've only seen the starter breeds so far (I only have my custom currently), but I really love the Zolnixi. Also really looking forward to figuring out how genes work, as I would love to see my custom actually get somewhere.


I also enjoy doing art and will probably end up doing some for this site, either as trades or commissions. You can see my art on my deviantART.

Traits here follow basic punnet squares genetics (Mendels Genetics) it's easy to learn it if you dont already know how to do it. There are loads of YouTube videos to walk you through it.

Few tips:
1) Dont use healers they are scam artists, pets will heal slowly if you give them an hour they will bounce back to full health
2) dont buy potions in town you can get plenty from missions
3) pick a pet and train it in a specific stat (like intelligence) and send that pet on missions in town to earn gold and other goodies like potions and equipment. Make sure you send a pet on a mission that aligns with its highest stat.
4) use the blue @ on someone's post (called a Ping) to notify them that you answered them

BTW just in case you don't know healers are a scam and don't get your potions form the marketplace, get cheap high-level pets off trade broker and check out the player guides forum for the missions guide, that's an easy way to get free stuff without effort

Some random tips:



Breeding.....Well, you can't really make too much profit from it anymore unless you have a themed, stattered pet, or something of that sort. Most things don't sell if they don't have lot of visibles/restricted trait sets,, aren't themed, are dishwasher pets, etc. Also price above 500g cuz the Releasers do release anything for sale that is under that-we're trying to help the economy and make pets actually worth it again ;)



Healers are a huge scam. Do not. Do not. But do missions-theres a guide here
