Lol for me I have to instantly write down any plans in my head because there is a 100% guarantee of them falling out of the back of my head the moment I think of anything else

Question: Do you listen to music while you write? Why or why not?
I personally don't, it distracts me too much, and sometimes what I'm listening to doesn't fit with the scene I'm currently writing (e.g. maybe the book is high seas-related, but the current scene is just everyone in... jail, I dunno). If I do happen to be listening to something, it's probably unrelated.
Then again, I do make OC playlists. I guess I just never listen to them at the appropriate time lol

Absolutely, about 85% of the time. Sometimes I struggle to find a song that fits the mood (hence the other 15%) but songs play a huge part in writing for me.

Usually I listen to music for story ideas as well! Ranting about music I listen to is honestly something I do a lot lmao -
