Nah, not usually. Only if I'm filling out a form for notebook.ai do I use a checklist, because the form is a checklist, essentially lol.

Challenge: Summarize an entire character/backstory/plot in less than 10 words
(Bonus points if it's actually a good summary. It's just for fun, this evidently isn't intended to be a good writing exercise xD)

I have:
- Sassy teenager gets kicked out of house, god edition
- Fish murderer with neither luck nor common sense
- Witch assembles overpowered assassination team for no apparent reason

~~~
Anyways, actual question:
Are you better at writing after you have planned out a structure or idea first, or does it work better for you if you come up with things as you go? (Either is fine!)
I think I prefer to plot extensively, though when I do so I often tend to either never actually write, or get impatient halfway and completely ignore my plot, haha. But then I panic over not knowing where I'm going and go back to plotting x'D
also i have
-emo problem child who somehow got a girlfriend
-stuck up rich nerd who needs a life
-boy who almost killed someone and destroyed a piano
Death who is literally a person, don't ask why please.
Intelligent marble head made from dead person's matter, don't ask.
Doggo. Just doggo. He is marble head's doggo. Good boy.
Also, definetly a "whelp, let's come up with ideas as I go" person. I believe that's called a pantser.
Preferred Genre: Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror
Pinglists: General and criticism, please ^^
I have read the rules.
I'm a big fan of any story that takes place in the modern world, but has some unnatural twist.
