*grins stupidly*
Hi! I have no idea what I'm doing!
Well I think I do but my 3 remaining brain cells are dead, between writing that and midterms.
Uhhhhh, yea. So I could use some help, because 1. I'm so tired I can't think straight, 2. I have no idea if anything I just said was right, and 3. I'm not sure I can continue writing this alone.
Sorry to bother y'all, but I would like at least a little help because it would be really great to know if I'm on the right track, I'm not the best at wording explanations of things, and this would probably be better if it wasn't just me, so... yippee!

Yeah. Although it's very much not done, but I'll add more on the weekend.
Imagine I said something more eloquent than that.

Well some basic rules are:

1. (ofcourse) narrator's word is law.
2. You can die
3. Stay in character (You the player might know whats going on by talking to the narrator outside of the games and such but your character does not. Also you might have a different personality from your character, so if your character is hot-headed they would likely rush in and fight, not always do the smart thing. Pay attention to that.)

Will try and put up more stuff (I have a lot of useless rpg knowledge xd)

So far, so good! Your commentary on roleplays was spot on. If you want some help in RP ettiquite, though, here are a few things:

-Don't godmob. It's super unfair and annoying to other players.

-Don't use powerplay or act all OP. Again, very unfair to other players.

-Follow any guidelines given by host. They're in place to keep the roleplay fun for everyone. If they say no to something, it means no.

-Try not to post more than once in a row when replying to one person. Just edit the original post instead.

-Check with other players before you time skip.

-Ideally, type a little more than a five letter sentance when replying. There are exceptions (I.e. yes or no questions), but give the other player something to work with.

-Use proper grammer and spelling to the best of your ability. Mistakes are okay, but don't make it habit. Roleplays are stories, so keep them readable!

-Don't talk in "text slang" (i.e. "tfw you hear a bad pun lamo btw do you like jokes irl?") Again, readability!

-When you play a charather, try to keep them true to what you submitted in the form. Charathers do change and devlope gradually over time, but avoid abrupt personality swings. It's a bit confusing when the shy person abruptly socks the bully in the nose and struts away like a peacock.

-Keep secrets secret for a while. It's very annoying when your charather has a secret and somebody instantly finds you out. (I.e. Albert has hidden just treasure, and Tom instantly stumbles upon it several posts later.) Idealy, let the other player reveal their own secrets.

-Keep personal arguements off of roleplay threads. If you and another player must argue, take it to either the sign-ups or the PM inbox.

-Not all roleplayers are fond of more mature content (Swearing, dirty humor, excessive gore, ect.). Please respect these people by keeping swearing and injury description mild and ommitting NSFW content entirely.

No problem! If you want, I could make you some examples of good and bad OCs.
