So I got this quest called Capture a Sylesti Esior's Haven saying that I need to capture a sylesti to finish the quest by using the capture ability in battles.

First I can't seem to find the capture ability in my screen, and when i use a trap it don't count towards the quest.

Can I get a little bit of help in this one?

Edit: Hmmm, seems to have fixed it self once I came across a sleeping Sylesti and caught it.

The quest for capturing a Sylesti is a scripted event. It doesn't require you to do anything special. Just keep exploring Trollsblight Cavern and you will eventually find it.

Am going to sticky this for future questions since this is a common question asked.

ok this capturing a pet is ticking me off i have bought 4 traps and tried using them and nothing maybe i am doing it wrong maybe if someone could give me a full step by step on capturing that would help please??

If you are trying to use traps to complete the quest, that isn't necessary.

The quest is a script event that you will find while exploring.

For actually catching pets, you simply use traps on the pet you want. When the turn calculates, it will tell you if you caught the pet, failed, or failed and the pet ran away (small chance).

Also, the lower health the pet has, the better your chances.

Even more importantly, the higher quality trap you use, the better your chances and the higher rarity of Sylesti you can capture. Higher quality traps are available in later towns.

Hi thank you for your response i did the quest no problem havn't tried catching them again yet so will try it but it wasn't working or me before sigh but will try again thank's

The game is a lot like pokemon in many ways and different in many others, Prob why I like to play LOL.

LOL It kinda is but with a more limited selection of creatures (Like seriously pokemon has over 600 and counting O_O) and multiple possible designs for them XD Maybe that's why I'm so addicted as well... XD

I've tried catching a pet but I'm not sure If I'm doing it right. I click on the trap I target the creature but the end turn never highlighted so when I also clicked on an attack it killed the pet I wanted to capture and I'm not sure thats what I'm suppose to do.

You can still command pets while using an item. It isn't one or the other.

when i try to capture a pet it doesent let me end turn untill i attack it too Y and am i doing omething wrong???
