Tips
. Make sure one of the pets in your main party is a Fire pet. Why? Of the six elements pets can be attuned to, that is the only one that allows them to target multiple opponents at the same time. It doesnt even have to be one of the pets you currently use. It can be a backup one if you want. But once you get to the Umbra Forest region, it comes in very handy, especially in the Faerinas Shrine area & everything that follows it, where you regularly face two to three different opponents in battles.

. Make sure one of your main party pets is a Light pet. The role those play in battle is a healer. Having one is very helpful, because it can essentially (partially) heal your other pet(s) as well as itself continuously during battles.

. By the time you get to the region I mentioned above, make sure all three of your pet slots are unlocked & filled. Its virtually impossible to get through the Shrine & the areas that follow it without having a full team of pets.

I normaly prefer a Earth tank with a fire and a light as a double cannon, which is one of the most solid combos

But one thing, make sure you have a backup air pet and not just a fire pet. Why? Well, fire pets are fun for multitargeting, but you DO NOT want to use them in wave battles unless you have a very strong team. I'm talking about the battles you'll encounter further on, where yoy defeat an enemy, but another takes its place. The reason for this is that fire pets kill multiple pets at once, right? But in these wave battles, at the end are usually the strongest enemies. However, at the beginning tends to be weaker enemies. And you will be fighting three enemies at a time. If you only kill one weak enemy and leave the other two there, the other enemies will still come forward, but the two weak enemies you didn't kill will still be there. So in a way, you're forcing the stronger enemies to come forward one at a time, so that you end up fighting two weak enemies and one strong enemy rather than three strong enemies. So like I said earlier, don't use fire pets in a wave battle unless you know your team is capable of fighting three very strong enemies at once. If your team is strong enough, by all means, go ahead. It speeds the battle up and is generally more fun.

I'm always happy to answer questions if you have any. I remember finding everything really confusing when I first joined. I've also completed quite a few breeding projects, so I should be able to answer any question about breeding or how to start a project if you decide to do one eventually.

Welcome! I have a few tips for you, from someone who survived being a newbie-
1. Dont splurge on pets yet. Wait to capture, breed, and buy until you have stable space to spare. That way you wont end up desperately begging for people to buy pets from you when you dont have any space left.
2. Stock up on elixirs for battling. They are essential, especially if you are a lower level and your pets dont have the higher leveled abilities yet.
3. Make friends! Its much easier being on this site if you have someone to talk to when you are frustrated.
