(You didn't ping me :/)
I turn around. "What is it? And what does that have to me falling into a lake?"

(That's okay.)

I cautiously get up and look for the eagle. My head hurts form the intensification of the sights and sounds.

(Omg, I'm so sorry!)

"Well, that pond is one way of travelling here to Estheria but people usually come through the portal gates... Which you wouldn't know about. Gosh, there's so much for you to learn!" He looks around before facing you again, "Well, would you like to head to campus? Orientation should be starting soon and I'm assuming you'd be our newest student, considering your age. Come with me and we'll get you settled in, or not if you don't want to..."

What do you do?

(Also, sorry about the bird thing, I'm just going off of the quiz. We can still incorporate birds into the story though.)

With the soft throb in your head, it's difficult to fully focus on every detail but soon your eyes seem to adjust better which eases the ache. Looking around you notice a path leading through the forest to your right and to your left, you can see an exceptionally tall tree in the near distance. The sun is still up high in the sky but has lowered slightly from before your blackout.

Soon you can see the person walk around a bend in the trees and notice a sweet-looking girl around your own age. She has her eyes flickering around as if looking for someone or something.

He moves to the side of the path. Still one hand concealing his knife/wrench thingamajig.

When she gets closer, he asks, "Are you looking for someone?"

He smiles sheepishly, "Trust me, orientation is lots of fun and you'll be able to find which Hall you're in and your roommates! But, they'll explain more when we get there." He walks off down the path with you in tow, whistling a strange tune you haven't heard before. He checks his watch but as he looks down, you notice a big dark blur dash across the path ahead of you. He doesn't seem to notice and continues whistling happily.
