"Happy Hunger Games!" The person said cheerfully. The bright lights turned off, and you were left in the light basking sun of dusk. The blinking red lights of the camera's turned off, and the videos stopped rolling. There seemed to only be you, the stars barely coming out of hiding, the sounds of the wild woods at night, and... Someone next to you cleared his throat.

"Uh, hi? I'm Sam...as you might have heard?" He said cautiously. If you wondered why, it's because now he and you are sworn enemies. He fidgeted with something in his pocket and twirled it around nervously.

You were officially a tribute. There was no heading back. No second guesses. No regrets. It was time to face your fears, and give it all you got.

(Well, headphones wouldn't exactly work unless you had music, or you had to block out your annoying sisters voice, or something else. Would work against snow, I'm pretty sure...hrm...what ever you choose goes. :D (Best prep talk ever, I know. :P))

You are lead to a spacious room with bright lights, just like the lights of the camera crew. Your family came in first.

"Hi," I say flatly.
(yeah not for music or anything, tokens aren't supposed to do anything)

Your Mother nods, and says, "I don't think you want us to talk long, so we just wanted to check that you had a token...I think you might of wanted something to remind you of home? So...If you want me to give it to you, I can." Who knows what your mom makes. Most are pictures and other stuff, but others you question their existence.

"Yes, please," said Minerva, trying not to cry. Who knew if this was the last time she would see them.

(Can I give you a tiny sister? Please?)

Your Mother nodded, opened her purse, looked around it, and pulled out a small photo book.

In it was a picture of your -immediate- family leaning against the walls of your home, the open window allowing your dog to peek through. You could also see parts of the olive tree, which you always climbed when you were little, through the window. Each of your family members, including you, were giving goofy faces to the camera.

Another picture was of your mom, caught in a laugh.

Another was of the dog, Jaz, leaping up to catch a burned waffle that you and Dad had just thrown.

All the photos were of joy full experiences. "A little memo so you can remember," your Dad said quietly.

(Yea. And also can it be on like a necklace or something?)
Now holding back tears was useless. Minerva started crying and hugging everyone.

(Yeah, but it will just mean that pictures are smaller.)

Your little sister, Jaxine - who you all called Jax - jumped up, begging to be held. "No going bye bye. No-o crying." She said, and wiped the tears off your face with chubby hands.

Jax thought about that. "Okay, weeks for play date. Then be back." She said cheerfully, and exited with your family. "Minerva is coming back in week. No worry." Your mother waves good bye as they leave ,and gives a small tear-filled smile. Your dad gives you a stiff salute.

"Be brave, my little one." He says gruffly, and you can tell he's holding back tears himself. "May the odds ever be in your favour." He left too, telling Jax something about how if your play date is delayed for a long time to not worry.
