Faith stumbled forward as someone bumped into her, Amber growled lightly at the person who had pushed them.
"Careful there," She said as she heard the person apologize like a million times.
Amber trotted up to stand beside her and Faith smiled at her.
"You okay Amber," she asks picking Amber up.
Amber licked her face and Faith laughed.
"So clumsy kid, whats your name?"

James looked at his dog who was now a mountain lion in shock. How in the world had that happened? Soldier-the-mountain-lion roared, turning on James as if accusing him of doing something he didn't mean to do.
'Why did you do that? What did I do to deserve this?' The dog seemed to be pleading.
"I...I don't know how to reverse this...Harriette? Would you know how?" James was just staring at Soldier, scared of what ever had happened. Harriette squeaked, and turned to him, and then relaxed.
"Oh, uh, no. I just guess something will trigger it to stop, James." Harriette shrugged at him. James looked at Soldier, and sat down next to the now a mountain lion.
"I'm sorry, Soldier." He sighed, petting Soldier softly. "At least our friendship hasn't changed, right bud? I hope?" Soldier nodded...sorta.

Phoenix yelped again and stumbled back. "What's happening?" Astra squawked in alarm, flapping into the air as far away from the mountain lion as she could. "Will someone tell me what's going on?" she demanded.

Faith watched, clutching Amber closer to her chest. She was scared of the other animals but she would never be scared of Amber, even if she was the scariest thing ever.
"Are you guys ok? Are you hurt?"
She heard someone else speak and turned to the person "I... think this... is a transformation of some kind."

Phoenix looked ready to throw something. "A transformation. Explains so much," she said impatiently. Astra looked as frustrated as she was.

"I don't know if Soldier is okay, all i feel is a bit light headed." James leaned on Soldier, just like old times. Except the dog was now a mountain lion and a bit bigger. Almost the same height in mountain lion and dog form, it didn't feel as awkward leaning against Soldier as much as it could have been. "But...i agree. That was kinda intense, and I have no idea what truly happened." Harriette got up, and then walked over to James, mindful of the transformed dog.
"It'll be all right..." She awkwardly tried to comfort her brother as in her head she added, 'I hope'. Even though
James and Harriette were siblings, they had rarely seen each other, and each didn't know the other that well. Bluefire, her white tiger, wound through the crowd, keeping something of a distance between herself and anyone though.

"Well I'm Faith and this is Amber, you guys are?"
Amber squirmed in her arms and Faith put her down. Amber sprinted up to Soldier, smiling and barked.

"I'm Phoenix and this is Astra. How old are you guys?" Phoenix blurted out, desperate to break the awkwardness of the situation, although the question did not help at all. Phoenix mentally facepalmed and Astra made a sighing noise. Not talking to people much did have its drawbacks.
