August nodded. "I believe we have. And I think it would explain a few things." He ruffed up his feathers. "What if the witch's daughter was Genesis? The ferret from before? Think about it. Eager to stay here, convinced the witch is a good person, perky, a bit naive, desperate for friends... almost childish, wouldn't you say? Plus, the name Genesis implies that she was the beginning of some sort of event. Why not the first creature in the Menagerie?"

Scarlet frowns looking at August. She didn't want to believe it that Genesis could possibly be the witch but as August stated it was likely. Scarlet's ears droop slightly as she silently agreed with August afraid to speak.

"What?" Grey turns to face Jay when she hears her name. She tried to remember what Jay had said before her name and got even more confused with the 'sorry'. She didn't think Jay had done anything to her that he needed to apologize for. She decides to shake it off. She puts her paws on the window sill and puts her nose to the window to try and see something other than the golden glow.

Hunter was admiring the drawings. He attempted to draw, but quickly quit trying. Drawing seemed to be a whole lot harder using paws and crayons. Also, it's not polite to draw on someone else's paper without their permission. He perks up when he hears what August was saying. Genesis being the witch's daughter? He'd have to ask her when he saw her again. If he saw her again.

Scarlet glances over at Hunter and Jay still processing the new information. Yes that was probable but was it truely possible though? She paces a few steps almost debating on asking if thy had more proof.

August tilted his head slightly. "Then again. It's only a theory," He added hesitantly upon noticing the others' doubtful expressions.

"No it makes sense," Scarlet explains, "You have evidence to support it as well. I believe you could be right and most likely are."

Mrs. Mouse had her lips pursed, both paws pressed tight together as she listened to the theory. "I see. So the ferret I've heard so much about could be the witch's daughter. There's no way to prove it but with a name like Genesis, it's hard to believe she's not the first. I wonder if she knows it..." Sighing, she picked up another drawing and then another. Mother and daughter stick figures, dogs and cats and every animal that a little girl could think of, then finally, a ripped up drawing of the girl laying in bed. No doubt, it was the very bed in this room.

Jay landed on Grey's shoulder, giving it another pat despite the fact that they looked very confused. "I would never have thought of it but these marks do look a bit like the tracks we saw by that lake when Genesis first showed up. But I seriously don't get why the witch would turn her own daughter into an animal and then try to keep her here. Isn't it weird enough that we're in a bedroom with a window in the first place? I'm so confused."

Scarlet frowns, "Maybe it was her way of keeping her daughter young or if she was ill way of slowing the illness down. The mental side effects would be horrible though. Then again there are way too many factors to just assume anything."

Mrs. Mouse tilted her head. "Yes, maybe that's so...an illness," she sounded out. Saying it, it seemed like such an obvious answer. "It's true that none of the animals seem to die in this world, even if they do lose their minds sometimes. As a mother, I can understand that desire to keep your child with you forever. If it were my son..." She shook her head. "I think it's about time I meet this witch myself and have some words with her!"

"I think it's time we all did. Try a friendly discussion with her and try to reason to let those who want to leave leave and those who want to stay be allowed to stay," Scarlet tries to be the voice of reason noting Mrs.Mouse's temper at the molment, "Anger will not help though."
