Extinct Plant: Coffea Leblinii
Date: 1907 Colors:
It was shrub with a lot of branches that could reach a height of about 50 centimetres. The flowers were white, the small fruits spheroid. It grew in forest habitat.
Extinct Plant: Silphium (Laserwort)
Date: Times of Roman Empire Colors:
From the descriptions and sketches left by a Greek geographer, Strabo, it's belived that it was a plant really similiar to Giant Fennel. It had a thick and tall pale green stem with clumps of tiny vibrant yellow flowers.

Extinct Dinosaur Plant: Macoun's Shining Moss
Date: Sometime around 1864 -1892
Description: Macoun's shining moss was a large bryophyte with long greenish-brown tufts. The tufts were shiny and up to 6 cm long.

Side Question: so every challenge do you have to ping the host? I haven't been doing that as I imagine that getting multiple pings for this thread is very common and could get annoying if it wasn't wanted. (I checked the core rules, but to me it isn't super clear)

ENTRIES THUS FAR "Extinct Plants" Challenge
Wow guys I know this challenge has been a hard one but your all doing great! Finding photos of these long dead plants isn't the easiest and for those who have, I applaud you! This challenge has proved to be harder then our last couple ones so great job, keep up the good working in the last few days of challenge!
